Baka may football clinic na ginawa dito para sa mga local football playerss, at siya ang mentor. Having athletes like him is good to promote others sports in the country since Pinoys are tied up to only one sports......basketball, at wala naman tayong makuhang medal dito sa sport na ito dahil napapagiwanan na tayo ng mga bansang nakakapag-produce ng giants like China and South Korea. It is about time that we give other sports a try.......sports that doesn't need height as an advantage. _________________

But I'm looking at this as a friend's point of view, and

That's why i did my best and studied!
Well, the first two years after i got into college was really hard.
I had to separate with my best friends from high school,
I felt like i was away from everyone!
Also, everyone kept on taking pictures of me!
It was really painful!
Amidst that, what sustained me was,
of course, my old friends and friend's family.
How many times have i been helped?
So many thank you ne.
That's why i want to be of support when people around me that are important to me
are going through hard times.
If, the people important to me were to suddenly go away right now
I don't think i will be able to do anything. (laugh)
It seems like people can't live on there own ne!
Actually, just between you and me, I'm very lonely when I'm all alone in Kyoto.

Of course, I'm aware of that......but those are just for amateur levels and you can't compete in international tournaments with that kind of level. What I meant is that the Philippines should try to have commercial league (like PBA) for football, baseball, etc. and play at a pro level. That way our country will be competitive in different kinds of sports and not just rely on basketball (pati boxing) to give glory to our country.

there was an article in the inquirer yesterday (lower left portion of the front page) regarding nakata's visit. he was here (not as a football star, since he's already retired) to see for himself, the other side of the world which he doesn't know (poverty). i guess we are the perfect example of an impoverished nation. he went to payatas and was awed by how "happy" the people looked _________________
