Since I've put Tiger & Dragon on hold, I'm now watching Dragon Zakura. Almost done epi 1.

MBMH, the humor in that is a lot easier to catch then the one in Tiger and Dragon, at least thats how i see it.

But Tiger and Dragon is indeed more fun to watch. Mostly do the strength of the cast's acting ability. Though I love both serie Victory! Peace!

most definitely..it's also less sophisticated though...no rakugo word play.

yeah the overall cast for T&D was much better...the supporting actors brought much more flair and substance to the show.....the supporting cast in MBMH, for the most part, kids are the same ol' stereotypes you've seen a hundred times...it's like watching GTO or Gokusen all over again...

somebody speak on this.....did anybody think that Jun Sakura-nantoka was a bit feminine for a guy?

that guy is sorty creepy.......kimo warui as they would say

btw, glad you survived your accident unscathed. Smile

that Makki Makki shiet hella got on my nerves too.....enough already.....

the dad, Junichi Okada, Donta (the brother) Misaki Ito, Chibi T, Liu-san the Chinese immigrant, the mom, the Soba guy.....that supporting cast was way the hell funnier meng.....

to be sure i'm enjoying MBMH but i have to make the obvious comparisons because it's Nagase playing yakuza roles in both stories so there is some similarity.

My Boss, My Hero

Rating: 8/10

A great comedy overall that was one of the few highlights of 2006. Nagase Tomoya puts forth a valiant comic performance that was funny if not a bit over the top and redundant at times. The all too familiar school setting doesn't provide many surprises by way of supporting performances which robs the dorama of some needed depth at times. However, if you want to laugh out loud at a light-hearted morality tale that imparts lessons about life....this may just be your cup of "Agnes pudding."

Finished "MBMH".

Quick frankly I've never been much of a Nagase fan, but he excelled in this drama. The drama itself is no different from the likes of "GTO", "Gokusen" etc., even down to the expose and the love interest. Nonetheless it is very enjoyable.

P.S. I watched "Linda Linda Linda" yesterday and came across Kashii Yu for the first time. When she appeared in the first episode of "MBMH" I didn't recognize her - I remember the face but for the life of my can't remember from where. I attributed this to 2 reasons: 1) she's a damn good actress, able to slip into the role and; 2) I'm going senile.

I just finished watching this drama too. Tomoya really fits the character well. I had fun watching it.

I'm currently watching Slow Dance, just finished the third episode. Is it just me or what that I find this drama quite boring Grumble
