Still watching Tokyo Friends. Why Yoko Maki is not a bigger star is beyond me ..... she's not even listed in the credits on the JDorama database

Finished episode 5 of MBMH... not as addicting as T&D in have to say, but at least you don't really need to think that much, i mean you can get your eyes off the text sometimes, not like T&D Nagase is the best, try IWGP minna... is dragonzakura good?

not quite, its mainly about a lawyer (abe hiroshi) who plays a teacher and tries to get 5 students into Todai (supposedly one of the most difficult and prestigious schools in japan to get into).

abe hiroshi is quite good in this one and if you like yamapi, i suppose you might like this one.

i had a decent time subbing this dorama (didnt mind going thru it a few times) but not among the very best doramas i'd say

I do agree Maki is seriously under-rated. The Dramawiki database has an entry on her but no photos:

The JDorama artiste database has a few gaps, and also lacking photos for a number of artistes. It isn't easy when you have to do it all by yourself, instead of thousands of people as in the case of the wiki.

for future reference, there is a dorama recommendations thread but overall i'd say

Long Vacation, Love Generation, GTO, 1L of Tears, Orange Days, Beautiful Life, Good Luck!! are some excellent ones

just bear in mind different people also like different things but the above are almost universally praised
