I know for sure that an indian couple was in Akihabara@DEEP. Not only that, lately there's been an increase of black males in the asian entertainment industry (variety shows --- I know there were two black actors in a KATTUN game show, in the kdrama "Sorry I love you"). Oh, Crystal Kay is a primary example of japanese accepting other races even though she's part japanese.

Okay, well it's been a few months and I have yet to see any dorama about Non native Japanese. There was an aside reference in a recent drama. In Attention Please, there is an incident where a Saudia Arabian man "Shequel" I believe, asks one of the flight attendants out. That's it.

I was researching Japan related topics and came across Indians living in Japan. Check this site out, it's about the KANSAI region, where around 4000 Indians live. I think it would be very interesting top see a drama about an Indian and Japanese relationship.

that would be, but it's difficult to imagine a dorama like because it might not have wide demographic appeal.

Oh it's not always about ratings is it? Probably, it is, but it would make a very interesting documentary or film. Anyone know of any films or documentaries about the different ethnicities in Japan.

well television studios are a business....when they have famous celebrities star in their productions it's because they think they will attract lots of viewers to raise the ratings...
