It's ok, I wasn't saying those stuff directly to you only.......just to all those who may have a little misunderstanding about Yamapi......And I can understand why you made such comment earlier b/c you didn't really get to know them.....it's ok. As time pass and you learn more about every member, you'll grow to love them all.......Btw, Ryo-chan is my 2nd favorite member ne! Actually I knew Ryo-chan before I knew Yamapi......But sorry to tell you, in case you haven't found out yet, Ryo-chan is also Kansai 8 member, so there are many many NewS activities that you wouldn't see him participate, especially in the early years after NewS formed......Ryo-chan seem to appear in more NewS activities after Uchi's suspension........
And yea, I do appreciate Koyama's MC, too. He's a really good MC, and he save the members from dead air......yea, NewS members are mostly very quiet......I remember the last time all 8 members went to HeyHeyHey interview and 2 Kansai 8 members Yokoyama and the other guy I forgot his English name came as their guests to talk about NewS. Just less than 10sec after the Kansai 8 members started talking, the host already couldn't stop laughing and pointed out that everyone in NewS are dead quiet while these two guys keep talking and talking very LOUDLY and PASSIONATELY..........LOL
Hm....about Yamapi keeping lots of things to himself.......sometimes he does.......but if you read his diary on JWEB in the few weeks, he's been talking a lot about his feeling......some ppl said it has something to do w/ the departure of his Best Friend Jin.......whatever the reason, he really talked a lot recently........and you can learn more about him in his articles he writes for Seventeen magazine.......
Hey, you are really a wonderful source of information for the people who don't know yamapi that well. I'll be sure to check up those sources you mentioned.
Yamapi may be a quiet person, but there's more to him than meets the eye.

heh... i can't help smiling at your reply
yes! i know ryo and uchi are from k8 too. And i really respect them for that, having to fit in two groups (one super quiet and the other super noisy) sure isn't an easy task! I wonder which group they prefer.. i remember reading in an interview that uchi said something like his real self is the one in NEWS. Whereas for ryo, he chose tokyo over osaka in another interview (so i'm implying he likes NEWS more?!)
but i prefer NEWS over k8. K8 is well.. too baka and noisy for my liking
hmmm.. where can i find the articles pi writes for seventeen? And i'm really hoping for some ryopi rabu in pi's nov 3rd entry ^^

Ha, Uchi & Ryo's reply to that question.......now make me think of another moment in HeyHeyHey where that guy from Kansai 8 said that there was once NewS and Kansai 8 worked together and then there are lunch boxes for them, and he was wondering which side's lunch box would Uchi pick.....and then Uchi picked NewS lunch box instead of Kansai 8 lunch box, and that Kansai 8 seems to be not-so-happy about that! LOL
And Ryo-chan......there's a famous saying passing around the internet, something he said in an old magazine, that "I love Osaka b/c my family is there; I love Tokyo b/c Yamapi is there." Isn't it soooooooo SWEET?? ^o^
Seventeen articles.......sorry, I only know where to find the Chinese translated ones......no English could I find...........

fill me in here, can? describe Kanjani 8 as a group - are they as well-received as NEWS?
Oh yeah. Yamapi, despite keeping to himself, seems to have a lot of good friends and fans who don't mind admitting their love for him. pretty cool, if you ask me. _________________

What do you mean by well-received? If you say about popularity......it wasn't, not before NewS suspension, we can see that by CD sale and polls.......but after that, Kansai 8 has done a lot and increase a lot of exposure this year while NewS stopped working......it's getting very close to NewS now, but I can't really compare them until NewS return and see how the public receive the revived NewS.

thanks. that sounds fair - wait before we can see how the public receives the revived NEWS.
found this on deviant art website : credit to deviant art. Being a shige fan, it sounds pretty cool to me.
"SSS!Support Shigeaki for Solos SSS!Support Shigeaki for Solos SSS!Support Shigeaki for Solos SSS!Support Shigeaki for Solos SSS!Support Shigeaki for Solos SSS!Support Shigeaki for Solos
yeah~! Support our noble cause in making dear Shige-kun to have lots of solos he rightfully deserves..." _________________

Hoho.. let's say that kanjani 8 members are much older than NEWS members and ehh.. not that appealing in terms of looks too In fact, the only reason why i got into kanjani8 was fully because of ryo and uchi.
I'm pretty sure NEWS is much more well-received than k8.. of course this will change if *touch wood* for some reason NEWS doesn't return at all (sorry for being pessimistic but this thought kept creeping back to me after i found out uchi's not back for k8's new single )

it's propaganda! too much exposure to shige causes shige to enter your dreams..
anyway shige does have a couple of solos like er.. survival ^^ Heard it before?
no lah, the shige dream came BFORE this deviant art discovery!
Yeah, i've heard survival...not bad. i just wished he had more muscle on him, because he looks soo ....er... slim (?) in that suit he wore onstage. and when i thought he said "let's lock" as in let's rock, i just had to smile to myself. Poor baby!
But that song that he sang with Koyama - aiyah, the one where they were both wearing white suits with black shirts, with the largest corsage you ever saw on their left sides - that song. i thought he was pretty good. _________________
