am really resigned to fate. all we can do now is wait.. wait about 2 more months for the ban on jdrama vcds to be lifted. that would be the happiest day of my life  I'll go on a buying spree.

you're too kind.. i'm laughing because now the korean drama fans have to pine for their k-dramas.. what i have done since ages ago for j-dramaz.. >_< i'm a bad girl.. 
as for jdoramas.. double score's last episode is on monday.. following after that will be good luck! on channel 56 E City.. morning 10am and night 11pm. ureshii..!!<33

It has always been this way. New doramas in Japan will be broadcast here about 1, or even 2 years later. This is because MCS supposedly has to 'order' the dorama from fujitv. Go visit the official fujitv site, then surf somewhere around 'overseas partners', then click on Singapore. You'll see a list of doramas that have been screened here.
So if you wanna watch something NEW, you'll have to wait for the ban on J doramas to be lifted. Hopefully, the doramas come at a REASONABLE price. I don't want to find it priced at 50 over bucks. Either that, or you'll have to turn to bittorrent.
I'm waiting for Pride, Suna no Utsuwa and Beginner. Looks like I have to wait until next year. Or, hopefully, the boxsets will arrive in Singapore in time
