so last night i saw a downloaded iron chef ep......the Mishima Beef Battle....they characterized Mishima Beef as THE top class Kobe Beef....the cattle live in a small herd on the island of Mishima hence the name....i'm sure they get the works like all the other prized cattle in japan...the feed, the sake massages, the beer, etc...
they said they only slaughter 20 head of cattle in an entire year.....price per cattle = 12,000 USD
nuts, man.
