Hello. mind if i ask. is anyone planning to upload the Japanese version of the MISO SOUP song here.
this forum has become my almost exclusive source of information on NEWS, (but sadly i have to also keep looking for other sources online to get more stuff on Shigeaki Kato. oh well.. ...)
i saw this video of NEWS and KAT-TUN on dailymotion, showing the 'behind the scenes' kind of thing at one of their concerts.....Yamapi of course was pretty much the focus point for NEWS (which is not too bad, considering he looks so much better now that he's put on a little bit more weight, and he looks rather macho I like him more : MONTA, DON'T START).
anyways, was just thinking : KAT-TUN sure looks .... well, different from NEWS. i mean, they're good friends and all, but welllllll.....NEWS looks more ..... er..... normal? and poor Tegoshi was so polite and really sweet with others. He's really sweet.
but those KAT-TUN boys were ..... err.... there was one scene when they showing one KAT-TUN member when he was shirtless and i thought, "Whoa! she's pretty hot!!" . (and that's coming from an older WOMAN like me). 1/2 the time, i was like...."No wonder there are lots of stories about the guys being homo. look at those girls....i mean....guys....i mean.....oh, THOSE PEOPLE".
but i think that generally, after reading more about NEWS and watching that video, my view is that NEWS guys are pretty much ....still... straight, although i'm not familiar with UCHI. _________________

Oh yeah, sorry to bring an old subject up...but after watching that dailymotion video (WHICH FEATURED A WHOLE LOT OF SHOTS OF KUSANO IN ACTION , EVEN IN THE FIRST HALF : MONTA TAKE NOTE), i think that kusa didn't mean any harm about that shot of him with alcohol.
i don't really understand why some people don't love him. overall, i think he is a good kid, just is a little too impulsive at times, and maybe needs to practice a little bit more discretion. That will come with the years, as he matures a bit more. right now, he just seems like a grown up kid. (huh?)
even in the behind the scenes footage taken in the tents prior to the show, KUSANO liked to make funny faces for the camera, never failed to put on his "performer" character each time the camera is pointed in his direction. He was never out of ideas ~ all came naturally to him.
He'd be great company for someone who was looking for fun.
ps : please bear in mind that i am only a new fan, and the comment above was based on my understanding from what i see as an outsider. it is by no means intended to be an in-depth analysis of the personal character of Kusa, and nor is it mean to be conclusive or completely inclusive.
oh yeah...and that i respect other people's points of view, as well. _________________

I interprete the storyline as this:
Massu and tego are street performers to earn extra income (probably for their studies abroad) and tegoshi's mum sent over a box filled with cups of miso soup and also a letter attached. The two guys go home late and tired one night and they spotted the box on the floor. Tegoshi got a little nostalgic reading the letter and seeing the cups of miso soup sent over by his mum and even got a bit moody when Massu stole a peek at his letter (whoaa.. tegoshi was mean here!*for once* he pushed Massu away) Poor Massu got nothing from his parents but tegoshi decided to share with him his cups of miso soup in the end...
The song that Tegomass performed on the streets was Miso soup of course..
but.. they don't seem to be earning much from their singing!! Look at the pathetic number of coins on the ground
Tegomass stop being street performers and come back as NEWS!!
edit: okay apparently the story is supposed to show that in the end, with the love and motivation they get from mum.. tegomass becomes popular musicians!
I hate to say this, but in the miso soup mv, i wish that MASSU too had a package from his family - it was rather sad, so unfair. poor guy..... sorry - have nothing better to say at this point. _________________

any parts i should be expecting?
thoguh somehow i have a bad feeling about it, since i think that NEWS's songs back then in 2003 were crappy... no offence _________________

aww.. don't worry! I guess it will be kind of weird for both of them to receive packages from their mums at the same time UNLESS they are twins. Besides, tegoshi shared his miso soup with massu and well.. who knows! Massu's mum way of expressing her love to his son may be different.

No idea how the JE 2003 countdown will be like cos the only one i watched was the 2005-2006 one. But if they even performed, i guess NEWS should have performed NEWS nippon?! And er.. in 2003, wouldn't most of the members be underage and not allowed to perform? Don't know..
