You don't want to remove the firewall, for sure!
You just have to configure it (well, perhaps both, the p2p prog and the FW), and it depends upon the firewall (look at the help file, "port filtering" and so on) and your privileges (have you installed it (or both) yourself? what did you tell it to do?). I am very sure I'm not being helpful now. Go to the d-addict page, and check out the links ("speed? check your ports"). BTW, aren't you using ZoneAlarm, are you?

You sure don't, not with a new trojan virus out now. That virus' been trying to crack my machine for the past 3 days now.

Does anyone y I can download some Bt links such as Cheap Love, but not others such as Otousan?
For Otousan it was dling fine yesterday, but today, it seems that I can't connect to peers, and it has been like that for the whole day.

I've been away from this forum for some time! Glad to be back! Anyhow, i've just learnt how to use BitTorrent but i'm awfully ignorant in alot of ways.. So excited heh.. I also wanna thank those who provide these goodies neh! I couldn't find a thread for help so i just hadta post it here.. Sorry if it's the wrong thread eh.. A question for anyone kind enough to assist silly me.. I'm able to download at some sites but most of the time i get an error message of being unable to connect to tracker or my connection is reset by peer. Can someone help? Please pretty please? Onegai!!!

Are you talking about Oyaji? Its from Kiku TV if I'm not mistaken. All episodes are out for some time now. I got mine from streamload. If you downloading form d-addicts I guess you have to be patient. And yes, I also find it a very good series.

Most of the time it means that the tracker is congested. Just leave your bt on and it will connect in time. Sometimes it might take a long time. Or try restarting the bt download again. Check the forums of the sites to see if tracker is down. If you're still having problems it could be a firewall problem or your isp has closed off some ports.
