Are you sure you're on the right forum?! :hehe:

The posting rules are not hard to follow, it's just a matter of reading them. Once you have those under your belt, it's all good times from there.

Hello everybody.

I'm male, 24 from the US. Almost totally new to Japanese dramas, but I just watched GTO and loved it. I'm getting Densha Otoko right now because I've heard great things about it and the synopsis looked interesting. I'm considering checking out Gokusen too. If anybody has any suggestions for new things to see please enlighten me. I think I came to the right place for finding out more :)

Uhh, and finally where are the posting guidelines/rules? I tried using the search and looking at the stickied posts but I couldn't find anything. If anybody could PM a link to me or just respond that would be pretty sweet. Thank you.

The General forum is probably the only one that doesn't have a sticky about posting guidelines :) check out any of the others. They all say pretty much the same thing :)

Edit: Here's one: http://jdorama.com/viewtopic.9439.htm

And another: http://jdorama.com/viewtopic.7340.htm

BTW: Welcome :)

I would wait to watch Gokusen if you've just watched GTO. They're a bit similar so you should put some space between them. Densha Otoko is an excellent drama. Good choice!

You can learn more about the different dramas out there in the Japanese Dramas forum. Have fun checking the place out!

Ahh, no wonder I couldn't find them!

Alright, I'll wait on Gokusen and check out that thread. Seems like there's a lot of good things out there to see. Thanks.

I said it in a hopeful manner, rather than stating a fact. lol
I think I'm just deluding myself though - the veterans are damn scary, and they have really sharp teeth. :hehe:

Hello minna!

I'm also a new member. :dancing: My nick is Puszedli, just my sister call me so, but i like it (it's a hungaryan honey-cake). I live in Hungary (Europe)
I'm 24 ys old (in january 25) and I'm a student at university but I have a part time job also in a hotel reception. Sorry if my english not so good, I'm better in german.
I've seen since 1 year animes and listen to jmusic of animes. My friend recommended me doramas and I began with Hana yori dango (thank to youtube). I watched earlier the anime, but the dorama was mutch better. I love Matsumoto Jun  I think he is a great actor and a very cute guy.
Bcoz of him I watched Kimi wa petto and Gokusen. Gokusen was so great! :say_cool: I finished it in 2 days. Than I saw Gokusen 2 and I've became Akanishi Jin and Kame Kazuya fan. I like Kat-tun music also. Bcoz of Kame I just finished Nobuta wo produce. He was so cool with Yamapi :woot: and their song Seishun amigo is my fav song now. Now I'm dling Sapuri, Dragonzakura and Tatta hitotsu no koi. After I finished my exams and have all episodes I'll see them.
I'm a huge GTO fan too  I like Sorimachi Takashi.

It's so good that there are so much dorama fan here and I can speak with them. :jumpie:
