Help Identifying the Name of a JDrama

Hi! The first jdrama I watched was a long time ago. It could have been in the late 80s to mid 90s - all I remember was I was schooling then.

The story is about this girl and her quest to be a pianist. That's all I remember of the story 'cos I was pretty young then. I remembered that I really loved it. I still remember the theme that she used to play. kinda hard to describe. It starts off with the right hand, is in A minor, a 'militant' lively virtuostic piece.

If anyone knows the title of this drama, it'll be great!

That's not much to go by. My immediate reaction is the asadora (morning drama) from NHK that was aired in Japan in 1994. If the drama you are talking looked like in came in short bursts (15 minutes each episode) then this could be the one.

Unfortunately it's fairly old so there's not much info floating around.

I remember it was shown in Singapore in the evening. There was also a post-war Jap show called Oshin which used to show here in the mornings... just reminising those days when I was hmm.. younger

i saw this when i was in prob 6th or 7th grade.. circa 96-98?
the story i dont really remember the details but i do remember it has to do with love story involving college/highschool kids? they eventually find happiness and the ending is what i remember most clearly.. the couple finds success selling a special type of bread they developed and live happily ever after. it was a heart warming tale but if only i can remember what it was >__<

Someone told me about a dorama which was a love story about a host and his customer, he even gave her a ring but she didn't believe his feelings were real because he was a host kind of deal...

I suddenly had this flashback to a series I really really enjoyed watching quite a while ago (7 years), and would appreciate anyone who can help.

I'll try to put as much as I can remember about it. I watched it in Beijing in 2000, which means it was probably released in Japan 1 year or so earlier (1998-1999?). It was about these 2 women, one who was extremely obese, and the other extremely ugly, and this doctor person does face lifts or something on them, and makes both of them beautiful. I think the doctor ended up liking the originally obese one, who liked this guy, but apparently the originally ugly girl had a beef with her, so she stole the guy. The originally ugly girl also got horrible treatment from her family due to her outer apperance or something, and later became an actress after she was prettier and worked in the same company as the other girl.

I think she eventually got pregnant or something w/ the guy she stole from the other girl, and then pushed her mother down the stairs after her mother cheated her of the money. I think I never got a chance to finish the rest of it.

Anyone know what series this is? THANKS!

I forgot what the title was and was wondering if anyone knew. its the one where a girl had to live with her father because her mother died. and her father was some kind of detective i think. he thought she was too old to be her daughter but she was and in the beginning they didn't get a long but they started to get along later in the days. in the introduction i think there is a fish just floating in the screen. any one know.

thank you, but I couldn't find it there. Maybe because the drama was aired in the morning/at noon and not (like almost all dramas in the Drama by Season section) in the evening.
