whatsat??? so huuuuge?? is it you the photo on the wall???

ok now here's another

neee.. been doing music stuffs lately... tell me is there any vocal player here??? i'd like to have your assintance here... Rolling eyes

hve just finished checking a number of l'arc songs just to figure out Hyde's range of voice in songs... here are them ( winter fall, honey, flower, lies and truth, anemone, milky way, white feathers, forbidden lover, natsu no yuutsu, time slip etc...). What i tried to guess is Hyde's notes in those songs... I used guitar instead of piano... and guess what??? Hyde's widest voice is in white feathers, time slip and kaze ni kienaide with around two octaves... Rolling eyes ( not certain about that )

the problem is .... i'm not too familiar with vocals and all of it's techniques... so... now wonder if i'd done a lot mistakes so if ther's someone who does... ( of course there are ) please??? having a headache doing this... Nut

o yea and you probably would say " ...see the scores... ". Yeah you know i did managed to get the scores... and then... Shake Head .... i can't understand anything... ( coz i'm a big fool of those stuff )

damn it... can't get a bigger space for the signature. I planned to get this one

There's a story of four guys who woke in the middle of winter night at an almost neverendless sea of snow ....

One of them cried loudly " pieces of you... pieces of you lies in me deep inches "... and the other played instruments just to made it even more gorgeus

Along with that numerous crowds of people awoke from their dream. They gathered in the field of dream that anyone would dreamed of...

Just then the silent night turned to a rainbow night... soon they fade away along with the beginning of the new sunrise

Nobody knew where they came from and who they were?? do you??

into my new signature but just couldn't... farewell... dis should do... Sweat ( sorry for making so much trouble with all of my ten block queue posts... currently having a hysteria on L'arc )

naaah... nat that serious... ijust love tabbing songs that i like. Just wondering how far is the ability of Hyde-san... ( imean we all know that he's extremely good in this... but without having to know his exact points on songs ??? i dunno... something still bothering me ) You know human's voice can be damn hard to tabbed coz humans can have techniques that not exist in music instruments Nut ESPECIALLY Hyde's Sweat

v69 wrote:

hey kirey_landford...for me that's cool...u can tabb songs, playing guitar and everything...i cant do anything related to music... Wink

that's the spot is really taking place V69!!! thank you for your appreciation you don't know my tabbing are sucks!!! i mean not that sucks but at least it's far from being labeled a "good job" Sad well thanks anyway... BUT about the vocal range...??? anybody

hey V69 just realized you come from Jakarta!!! I'm from Bandung myb we could meet someday ( klo gw jalan - jalan ke Jakarta bisa aja nemuin elo... masalahnya gw nggak apal jalan Sweat )

Hmm.. It's really hard to categorise Hyde's voice;
but it's a cross between an alto & a soprano.
Somewhat like..Bach as he was a sop & alto till he turned 18.
But Hyde's different. Kind of..

If you're speaking about the recorded ones, eg: cd's video clips,
he's definitely a cross. But live..
hm.. it's much harder to sing live, cause of the microphones,(in my opinion) echoes somewhat, & basically it differs from your real voice.
If you're heard him live, you'll get what I mean. it's a bit.. gravelly?

Slightly rough, but tht could be due to so many factors..
smoking? cause you need to keep your vocal cord moist, warm, & not spoil it with too cold water, shouting, etc.

Some say he uses falsetto, but I don't think so..
Falsetto is Justin timberlake.
If you really want Hyde on higher notes, i suggest his Roentgen.
Specifically Evergreen & Shallow Sleep.
I'm a soprano so I can only sing Shallow Sleep & Evergreen well.
The rest..i can't hit the low notes.
*winces*
Beaten

But there's not denying he's an excellent musician.
In recordings, he's definitely the best.
In fact, he can sing higher than some female altos.

But one strange thing..
Whenever he sings HONEY live,
no matter how gravelly his voice sounds,
it sounds perfect when he hits the high notes;
"I want to fly, waiting for sunrise"

I haven't really analysed the scores yet,
the books are on my electone. *winces*
Good luck!

Oh, his voice, speaking voice that is,
is.. low. definitely an alto.

eewwww!!!! lol...the cover band's vocalist tries to tremmer his voice way too much. The solo for Stay Away is alright but I preffer the original. Metropolis is a hard song to play consistantly so I got to give the guy credit. His style kinda choppy tho where as Ken's flow is very nice. For Hyde's vocals tho, he does falsetto, especially in Anemone. Its actually a lot of falsetto just that he switches back and forth so much and so fluidly it's hard to imitate. People like Justin Timberlake and Pharrell will falsetto for long periods of time and won't through out a low note out of no where because that's hard to do and that's why Hyde's very talented in my books. To falsetto I think you have to use special muscles in your throat (I forgot the name) but you definately can't just do it with normal singing. It takes a lot of control. I'm also kinda surprised at Tetsu's vocals because when he sings with Hyde its extremely high but when he sings by himself he doesn't go as high as his vocals can go. Interesting. Wink

Me too, my thoughts exactly. Then, I started to listen to some of their music and it's not that bad. L'arc en ciel happens to be a pretty solid J-rock band in my opinion. While I'm not obsessed over them, I think they are a good group.

Hyde is a good vocalist, in my opinion. I don't know too much about their solo stuff.

Yeah, you're right.. he does go falsetto in anemone.
*winces* Can't say i'm a fan of falsetto...
Hey, has he sang anemone live before?
Cause it is really difficult to use it live without amplification
Eek..Imagine if it breaks 1/2 way.
O.o
*runs away & hides*

Hm.. if my memory serves me correctly, once breath passes through
the vocal cords,(higher cords) & reach full power, it turns into falsetto ne?
Rather hard to control the volume too ne?
Ack..I'm getting amnesia..

You play the bass?
Or guitar?
Waai! That's so cool!
