Okay, sooooooooo- what was HYD 2's rating? high 20s to 30?
When do the ratings come out?
It comes out in around 7 hours. There's no way it will reach high 20s. I'm guessing low 20s at best. 2 hours SP is just too long, and its quality is not so good that makes people watch the whole thing.

Seriously, if it doesn't score AT LEAST 22%, with all the advertisement and all this budget, producers are gonna be angry. I can't wait to get the ratings! You said in about 7 hours? Where do you go to see them?
Next week is this season's Juggernaut, Karei Naru Ichizoku, starring Takuya Kimura. =)
I just hope he'll get back to his "Good Luck!!" ratings because this one looks damn interesting.
TBS will be happy if they get 20%+ for HYD2. all of their 2006 doramas are flops, that's why they started the year with a blast with the Kimura dorama and HYD2.

I always get it first from 2ch, I think it's the fastest way of getting the ratings for free. Numbers are usually up as soon as it's announced at 9AM by Video Research in Japan. There are couple of 'trusted' users there who consistently post correct numbers.
Then many dorama blogs basically confirm those numbers maybe 4 or 5 hours later.
Yeah, Karei Naru Ichizoku ep1 is sure bet for high ratings!
i was expecting at least a 21% for HYD2, but i guess they had stift competition from other networks at this time slot. i cant believe that Fuji chose Hayami Mocomichi to lead a getsuku dorama! his last dorama bombed, so im thinking that this may be a package deal with his agency Ken-on, considering that a lot of their artists had lead roles in Fuji doramas recently like Amami Yuki, Itoh Misaki and Eikura Nana.

I think I know why HYD2 didn't reach more than 20%. Fuji TV has Kindaichi Kosuke SP at the same time on the same night, and this has always been a popular series, plus SMAP's Goro Inagaki stars in it. I don't know the rating for this but it surely affected HYD2 performance. _________________

i somehow don't believe in TV ratings...
yasha got about only 6% and i don't have a problem with the dorama, actually, i think it's great, especially for a 2000-made
just to know how popular the dorama is in japan
taht's because we have different taste in dorama. Many people say this/that dorama is good but we think it's waaaay behind our expectation, or vice versa.
But i agree with the final rating that maui posted. Dr. Coto deserves to get the highest coz the story is indeed superb! And the other three are also as good as Dr. Coto (i haven't watched 14sai no haha though ) _________________

maybe ya jeunk... but 6%!!!??? that's like , Yasha is good i tell you, good...
but i always agree with the dorama in #1 spot in the awards for japanese doramas.
(after kurosagi went up in #2 i started not believing in the award except for the one in #1 ) _________________
