Yes, Takayo left Zone after her final Kohaku performance at the very end of 2003. She was a guitarist and the leader of the group.
Now a new girl, Tomoka takes over her position. Though, the leader is Mizuho, who plays the drum set. However, Tomoka came from the same talent school in which Zone came from and was part of the original Zone auditions, though she got cut in the end due to her height. Kind of awkward, but now she gets her chance to show her skills. |
oH!
that was her last performance with zone..
sad..she's my fav member in zone..
so what's she doin now?
pursuing her solo career?

Yeah, I liked her a lot as well.
If you read one of my earlier posts, then you would know that I already stated that Takayo left Zone to pursue a university education. I'm pretty sure she doesn't have any future plans on starting a solo career or anything. It is also unlikely that she will return to Zone anytime soon. While she will greatly miss her fellow friends and such, she is pretty keen on pursuing the opportunity in her future education.
But I still wish the best of luck to Zone, regardless. Even without Takayo, they are still awesome.

Prayer is my favorite song of the bunch. It has this laid-back jazz feel to it. And the acoustic version of Shiroi Hana is also pretty mellow in terms of style. Good stuff. |
Yeah N is really good, I can't stop listening to it... My favorites are Sougyou, Prayer (for the reasons you mentioned ^_^), and ~true blue~ I'm trying to save up to get their 2nd DVD Zone CLips 02 at the moment, but im so broke

Yeah, it was pretty good, as usual.
I have the N album, got it a few days ago and I must say that it simply rocks. A lot of the new songs are indeed very good and I can't really say I hate any of them.
My personal favourites on the album are "true blue", "sotsugyo" and "Hanabi".

I have all their albums, Z, O, N....
Does anyone know when "E" is coming out?
So, far I think "O" is the best of the 3, but I like all their albums. |
Probably early 2005 is my hunch

You can have her. But the bass player Maiko is mine. I call shotgun on her.
