If it involves food, I'm more than interested in checking it out... I caught a few glimpses when I was hardsubbing it, but I haven't watched it completely yet... Time to bump it up in my queue, I suppose. Smile

Sounds (and smells) interesting. Can you point me to a link to this drama?

I've got that to watch. It seems lots of people here like it.
And Eve shouted at me in another thread to watch it, so I must. hehe

I've just watched ep 1 of Attention Please, and very enjoyable it was too.
Ueto Aya is jaw-droppingly beautiful...it's quite distracting.

glad to hear you're enjoying Orange Days.

I'm going to give KimuTaku's new drama a try. From past experience, i haven't watched a drama that he's been in that i hated or felt it was bored.

now i'm watching Kuitan ep 7. The foods in this drama looks yummy too, even though some of them seem like its just normal everyday food.

What is the titled for Kimutaku's new drama are you going to watch?

for Kuitan I agree for you too, the food looks really yummy oiishii!! w00t!
I wonder if there are really a guy as good as Takano Seiya (The Kuitan) in real life? hehe

Yep, I know how you feel about the drama, indeed it was very touching, one day I was like crying a river while watching that drama and I was wondering if my tears were measured did it reach I litre? hehe
Tonikaku, if you like sawajiri erika, then you might like Taiyou no uta, well the characther she paly in it its basically the same which is a dying girl, but she sang and played guitar there Dancing Very beatiful both her voice and her looks

BMW

Re: "Oishii Kokoshikata", I'd say, bump away.

Food isn't a main character in this one (as it is with Kui tan), but it's the back drop for the whole story. Food is what brings them all together.

But the movie is about a great little murder, three goof ball ladies, lots of laughs, snappy patter, sight gags, quick cuts, delusions... all set at a pace that makes you feel like you've only been watching for half an hour when the credits start to roll.

Personally, I plan to watch it again before it finds a place on my shelf and begins collecting dust. And that's the highest praise I can give any TV show or movie.

Finish Kuitan.
I think its a 10. Good comedy, interesting enough things they gotta solve nad the food was able to look good even though its just common food.

In fear of my disability, where I have to finish every drama I start, I quit downloading this series upon the advice of many Jdorama members. If I download it in its entirty, I'd have to watch it. If I watch it, I'd have to finish it. So far, so good.

Engine- I loved it too. What was a nice bonus was I didn't realize Erika Toda and Juri Ueno were in this. Triple eye candy with Koyuki and some of the race queens! This was a pretty nice weekend I thought... hehe

Thanks for the comment! I'm downloading this one as we speak!

YAY! I had a lot of fun watching this drama. And it's true about the food! No matter what it was, common or extravagant, it looked mad tasty nonetheless! I still need to find the time to watch the special for this one... Sweat

O! I got this drama from musa (gaijin mark) and I believe it's next on my list to watch.

Right now I'm trying to finish Ace wo Nerae... Sweat

Right now I have 3 shows on the go.
I started Tatta Hitotsu no Koi. I watched the first disk which was 4 eps. Got lazy and went to bed.
Next day I put in the first disk of Kuitan watched it (that's 3 eps) got lazy and switched it for my *cough* T-Drama *cough cough* Prince turns into a Frog. Which is 30 eps and I'm 5 shy of finishing (I'd be watching it now but... I could do with going to bed as it is late Sweat )
To be honest I'm in no great hurry to go back to Tatta Hitotsu no Koi and Kuitan. They were ok, entertaining, but they're not the kinda shows that make me watch them in one go (Like Remote or My Boss, My Hero or Attention Please etc.) I'll prolly give Kuitan another go onces I have finished my T-Drama, I don't know about Tatta Hitotsu no Koi... we'll see. Bonk

Wonderfully crappy food.

Truth to tell, all Japanese food looks... less than appetizing to me. So I depend on people's reactions to know whether the food is good or not.

People's reactions to Megumi's food, to the Head Teacher's wife's food... made the movie for me.

i only pointed it out to emphasize your point that delicious looking food is not a selling point of this movie. tune in for the characters not the cuisine...in fact the title of the film is somewhat ironic.
