HOW TO DL FROM UP-FILE
I just figured this out recently, so maybe there are others who are having trouble & this might help. I'm using FireFox, which may or may not matter.
Click the link on the page where you found the dl (duh ); this will take you to Up-File's page.
On the Up-File page, scroll down past all the boobies, "make money now" ads, etc. Near the bottom of the page, under a banner-type ad, you'll find the words "Your link here. Up-file free for all." Click on them.
Below another banner-type ad (it's always "browser war 2007 start" for me) a table will appear with "feature", "premium" and "free" across the top row. At the bottom right corner of the table, click on the grey button that says "free".
This will take you to another page with more ads & boobies...down towards the bottom of that page there will be the words "Download link here. Please Wait! 30 sec". After it counts down the 30 seconds the words will change into "Download Link" which is, of course, a link to dl your file.
Click and download!

I've been watching D no Arashi, starting from the first episode and working my way through. Really makes me wish I knew more Japanese so I could understand a bit more! Sometimes it's pretty easy to figure out what's going on, but other times I'm pretty lost. For example: Meguro-san, the enormously fat man...eh? Is he gaining weight on purpose or something?? I'm *so* confused.... _________________

took me forever to learn to use Up-file as well, its tricky sometimes though if you're using Firefox (I am too) you should get the javascript disable extension so you don't have to see all the annoying ads and porn
About Meguro, he's japan's fattest man or something along those lines and they're trying to help him lose weight. But sometimes i think it's a bit over the top coz they make him try things like at the amusement park, but coz he's too heavy they dont' let him on the rides or he doesn't fit so it's not safe. gotta be embarassing. But he doesn't really seem to mind so whatever really.

Yeah...he seems completely unbothered by it, which really threw me off for a while! I thought their activities were things HE wanted to do in Tokyo, but maybe not...? Amazing to think that he weighed about as much as all of Arashi put together (but then, they ARE skinny boys!). It does become clear later on that he's trying to lose weight - he went from 260 kg to 218 kg! Still huge, but making progress...of course I'm watching shows 3-4 years old, so no clue how he's doing now, lol!!
I think all of Arashi are just "touchers", whether by nature or from being around each other so much. Seems like pretty often in D no Arashi they end up touching the person they're with, patting them on the shoulder or whatever. They do keep their distance from the okama, though. _________________

I knew his face looked familiar... I didn't realize at the time. ^_^;
It seemed fun from the little I watched. I'm not fluent in Japanese and it didn't have subtitles so I couldn't tell that well. xD

My friend borrowed the DVD but before she left I copied it to my hard disk (the full DVD in VOB files) >< I thought the subtitles would be there or that I would have been able to play them with the VOB files, but dunno why they aren't >< Not in the video as hardsubs or in a separate file (like softsubs, .srt files or so) >< I'll look for ways to get the subs from the DVD and as soon as I get them I'll share them *winks* _________________
