I WANNA SEE THE STARLIGHTS TOO!! I even wanna see Haruka..wondering who they are gonna use.. males or females? lolx.. you know, haruka and the starlights really has these really confusing sexes... one second, male another second, female.. really got me dizzy... My sis just mentioned a few night ago that she's dying to see the starlights. I'm a Seiya fan as well.. but when it comes to Usa and whose pairing, i would put mamoru in first place though. I will always read a Usa-Seiya fanfic IF the authors didn't make mamoru a jerk in their fics.

I think they could have done much better with the cast. The girls are quite harsh on the eyes, the "special effects" are so cheap and poorly done (plush Luna???). Oh, and am I the only one who thinks Naru looks cross-eyed?

I do understand the point of this Live Action show, it is pretty funny for people who use to watch Sailormoon. However, seeing those pretty cartoon sailor senshis turn into this is too much.

This screams low budget in everything from the cast to the set.

lolx... personally, i think a plush Luna is a good idea as a real cat Luna is in the manga and anime. I mean, you can't really find a cat with a cresent moon who talks and is obidient enough to make the whole shoot go on smoothly. If you asked me, i think watching those animal movies like cat and dogs and others are quite fake... the effects with the dog and cat's mouths mouth and eyes darting elsewhere while they talk looked quite fake. Turning Luna into a plush in this real live action is a logical thing to do, i dun think i would want to see a computer made Luna walking everywhere without anybody but the scouts notice. That's way more fake, how could a cat with a crescent moon on the forehead not attract any attention in the real world? a plush Luna would do as a great excuse of having a crescent moon on its forehead and would be more convinient to bring.

Yeah, i did noticed that Naru are crossed-eyed. But that can't be blamed, right? Other than crossed-eyed, she's really good in acting. Other than Sailormoon's pigtails floating about during the transformation, i really dun see anything else that's lamely done... maybe some of the sound effects are quite not needed though. Other than those, i'd think it's much more better done than in Ultraman and Masked Rider.

The girls are really improving more and more in their acting skills. They really have the looks suitable for their characters too.

yeah it is .. but u have to realize that its for a little kids... its not a big huge budget drama like 'pride' or 'tenguko e no kaidan' or anything... its just a children's show...

btw what do ya mean by "the girls are quite harsh on the eyes"? i personaly think they are very attractive and nice to look at..

Yeah, you have to realize that this show is aired on Saturday mornings from 7:30am to 8:00am... children's show, anyone? I mean, it isn't going to be like a GTO or something like that.

MAN! THOSE GIFS are great.. but they go by too quickly... set the frames @ .12 each and they should go smooth! anyway on ur profile ther is an option in the very bottom... it says :
"Link to off-site Avatar:
Enter the URL of the location containing the Avatar image you wish to link to. (width will be forced to 150 pixels)" type in the adress where the file is hosted @.. and it should show up when u submit the changes.... pm me if ya still need help.... for ur gifs.. rememeber set the frames to 0.12 secs each frame and they should go back to the right speed.. GREAT JB ON UR GIFS BTW!

I took the episodes (4 and 6 I believe) and cut Mars and Jupiter's transformation out then took the video clips into ImageReady and turned them into gifs.

i saw ~50% of the episodes, but they bored me
i mean its somehow nice to see the solution for the live-action-effects
but everything seems that extreme unnatural and constructed.
most of the actings were imho a desaster

the first episodes i saw (mixed ones, some form the beginning, some middle) were quite nice, but at least its kinda power rangers

i think this is the EXACT reason why people watch it. The cheeze factor makes this pretty enjoyable, and i think the (producers) know that, and try not to make it more "big-budget-hollywood-like".

So true! I mean the original story was insanely designed for 10 - 14 year olds. This isn't a GTO or Long Vacation people. O.o I don't know why people expect so much from it!
