And I am afraid that Lifo has forget about my request, so I'm gonna ask again to u guys;
I need a Larc website that has a complete review of larc equipment. From guitars, drums, etc, etc, even saxophone. Does anyone know?
The 4th Avenue cafe site is not updating no more.
Thx.
you're welcome
i don't know any website for that, sorry.. only the one for sakura's drum.. http://haruka.vze.com/
edit: oh! and you will find the huge collection of tetsu's bass guitars on the scans of "tetsu's gear closet" magazine~
btw, the 4th Avenue cafe is being updated lately and is now workling as good as before~~~~ www.laruku.com
i don't think that the equipment page was already updated, but the site is definitely not dead _________________

So, it's recently been a rare occurrence here that we've actually talked much about L'Arc~en~Ciel's music.
Anyways, I was just at their official website for the first time in a long time and realized two things:
1. It's been a long time since they've updated the site. They still don't even have Awake put on their official discography.
2. I can't believe I've never notice how many of their great songs Ken has written. If you look back at their first 3 albums, Ken actually wrote most of the music and interestingly Hyde wrote very little of it. Don't get me wrong, I think Hyde writes great songs, but so do all of the wrest of them.
If you had to decide, could you decide which one was the best writer?

no offical dvd so far. ehm .... you are right with this but the subs we made are different. it's the hq version of the concert with subtitles, but you don't have only one subtitle stream there. you have three. I guess with myu's other subs we will have 6 subtitle streams on the whole. you cannot play 3 different subtitle streams at one time when you only have them on pc and not muxed. (to be honest most of the muxer are shit.)
myu and I never did only one subtitle file for everything and we wanted to put many variations on dvd. we have three or more subtitle streams now you can choose whether you want subs, certain subs or no subs.
i've been confused for quite some times and im gonna let it all out now.. may i? this will sound really stupid, i know, please forgive
so if i have the concert already in my PC, how do i get the subs? do i download the concert again with the subs you made, or do i download the sub in some kind of format that will be mixed with the concert file, or do i download it in some kind of text file?
again, so sorry
btw, do you have any recommendation of L'Arc's live to watch? i'm into live lately and would love to see great live from L'Arc. i heard Grand Cross is an awesome live, true? any other live i should see? thanx xD

The Awake Tour and the Asian TV live are the best. I also love the Grand Cross and the Light My Fire (short but great). _________________

@ myu
you don't delay anything. XD
to be honest there is a bit of a problem with the subs. they appear and disappear but sometimes too fast sometimes they last for a long time.
so i wanted to ask you if you can fix them a bit.
the first three songs are almost ok soemtimes they disappear when hyde is in the middle of the last word so if you wnat to change them... change the disappear time about 20-40 ms.
but now here is the main problem the intro is very well so the first three songs but with the first hyde mc it is getting weird. hyde didn't say anything and the subs appear, i guess 1-5 sec before he even has taken a breath, so it is with the rest of the first dvd. so here is my qestion could you change them??
maybe i should upload a part that you can see what I mean.
and i have also to change that the subs are in 16:9 format XD
@ Dr. Jackal
some of the subs were already posted by hicchan and me.
but they are in saa or in srt format and the main thing is that they are external. For intergrating them in a video you have to know that there is certain software for it. BUT as I already said most of this software is shit.
After you've encoded your video they subs are still not there. It was such a pain to get them in the file. And software which works well is not for free. it really sucks
I really love Grand Cross, Awake Tour, Asia live and also the 15th Anniversary XD

GCC a great concert but I prefer Awake Tour and heavenly-true era concerts, probably because I like the style of music that they had in those years.

Ken!! *-* I think he's awesome in his work, with or without Laruku, he create fantastic melodies, great songs. Tetsu has a different way of making music, he is more soft, pop... I don't know how to call it, "pop" sounds weird. _________________
well, i dled tha 15th L'Ann but nvr got around to watch it, i wanna save it till i really wanna watch it! so i dont noe about tha subs, danxs anyway for tha subs _________________

there is no information about the song being a single. it's just a new song
but i thought that was part of the song from their new spring single v.v, oh well , can't wait till spring!!!>.<, thanks for the info though^^ _________________
EDIT: Warning! It's only a preview because I want to make myself clear to myu-chan because the problem is a bit hard to describe. I've just seen that someone has already downloaded it. it's only a scene out of a big file. To be exact it is the ending of white feathers and the beginning of neo universe. and the subs are not fine now. But when you want to help I would be very thankful > since it is a mass project
hey everyone! does anyone happen to have the Music Station from this picture here?
forgive the subtitles on it~ i didnt put them , they were there when i found the picture!

Actually read on this site http://www.project-j.org/laruku.htm that ken is actually the principal composer. I've always debated who has the best writing, but it's hard for me to decide. Yukihiro doesn't write many songs, however. And I even less of Sakura's (I only can recall Inner Core) The catchiest songs for me are tetsu's and his ballads are awesome (RSG, Driver's High, Dive to Blue, Hitomi no Jyuunin, Pieces), but I like the unique songs hyde writes like the unexpected jazzy pieces (Sell my Soul, Ophelia), and ken's various styles of songs (Ibara no Namida, The Nepenthes, plenty others). Most of the time I can tell who wrote the song. (I fail a lot though.) I like pretty much like all their styles of music.

I love awake and asialive, but live in the USA made me cringe in some parts. But pieces was amazing in that DVD. So it makes up for hyde's slurring. Then again, he rarely sings Ready Steady Go and Stay Away perfectly. (He makes up to it with his beautiful ballads). Also "Do you want to eat crabs" is priceless[/quote]

what are heavenly-true era concerts? 'cause i like their style too in those years
i've watched Awake Tour, Asia Live, Smile Tour, and Live in USA. i must say the best so far, IMO, is Awake xD
i think ken is unquestionably awesome in writing music, but not lyrics. after listening to his solo project, i love his music, whereas i think the lyrics should be improved somehow. that's just me tho ^_^
i think they cover (?) each other perfectly
