finished Summer Snow

this is definitely one of the most beautiful dorama i've ever seen. Extremely brilliant acting by Dohmoto Tsuyoshi. It has a nice pace and plot eventhough it wasn't that solid, but still beautiful. Some parts was really unexpected and made me wanna continue more and more. The family feeling between them was strong too. Each character also got an even share, they have times when they get exposed.

The only annoying thing is the theme song. Really, it's just so annoying. Who the hell is the music director anyway? He/She definitely has something wrong with his/her brain.
the "OH! EH! OH! EH! What's up c'mon!" crap is just soo in the wrong place it ruins everything up. I had my fingers ready at the mouse whenever it nearly reaches the 44th minute coz i don't want the atmosphere to be ruined.

I can only think 2 possibilities due to this crap:
1. The music director is just lame and simply has no taste
2. The music director itself is a brain dead fangirl

When i saw the reviews, some of them said to prepare a box of tissues. With that kind of ending song? not happenin'. When i nearly pulled the tissue out of the box i always go "eeeh...?!" and laugh the hell out at the stupid ending song. People really cry watching this? This is the second time i did not use a tissue box that i prepared, the first one was for Beautiful Life Rolling eyes

but OH MY GOSH!!! WHAT AN ENDING!!! on of the best endings ever. at least tissues are needed for this part

9.5/10

I've put it on my list for downloads! I wonder if I'll have a cig after watching it... Beaten hehe

@Monta: I'm really glad you enjoyed Summer Snow, although I knew from the start that you would! This is one of my all time favs. There was something so innocent and simple about it. I teared up at the ending of this drama, but you're right. The end song, although fun to listen to, totally ruined the emotional endings of each episode.

I enjoyed this drama until the ending. First the ending was much too predictable and totally unneccessary. IT was simply a contrivance.. there was no need to have

Local TV just started showing Furin Kazan, but I'm gonna stockpile a few episodes before I start watching.

Man. I still can't quite get Yasashii Jikan out of my head, so I'm sticking with movies for a while.

It starts here this Saturday, Feb. 10... w00t!

Looks interesting, particularly with the lead having an eyepatch... Samurai with eyepatches are badass. Victory! Peace!

My DVD recorder is ready.

Hai, this is true! When I saw Summer Snow, I hadn't been exposed to too many sad endings, so I didn't mind it. Now, however, I'm beginning to feel the sad-ending burn.

On Topic: Last epi of Friends! Victory! Peace!
