hmmm are you people reading what I'm writing ? As I said I was remotelinking with lycos / tripod for a very long time so you really should give it a try. Or send me your pics and I'll put them on my accounts so you will see that it works fine

hehehe. I did take a look at it but as with angelfire, it says remote linking not allowed in the 'Why was my website taken down' help section. _________________
Have a look @ http://www.tripod.lycos.com/ They are offering Webspace there and it was working just fine while I was remotelinking from tripod/lycos. I guess you should have acces to the webspace section with your email login, since I could login to the email section with my webspace login

what's remote linking?
i'm still linking some images from angelfire
it works..
but there's limited bandwidth
sighzzz
i think it means uploading files in one site and using them for another. like uploading pictures in .... say.... geocities and using the pic as an avatar or signature here. most free webspace sites don't allow it.

this works?
just a test..
edit - i can see it..what bout u guys?.. i'm using angelfire to link it here
yup we see it. ^_^ It's kind of like with domaindlx, even though some ppl are getting the remote linking not allowed pic, others like me can still use it without problems. So, even if it works now, they may in the future close ur account. I dont know how they monitor it though, probably by bandwidth usage or if there's an index.htm in your webhost. To be safe, I always put an index.html file in there. ^_^ _________________

these sites are worth checking out, they claim to allow hotlinking:
http://www.sighost.us <= i just opened a free account. it looks good
http://www.freepgs.com <= it has limited bandwidth though
http://ihost.it-mate.co.uk <= haven't uploaded anything at the moment. i will try to use my signature picture here
http://www.sighost.us <= has limited bandwidth (100 mbs) and will delete account if you havent been logged in for 10 days.
http://ihost.it-mate.co.uk <= seems the best out of the 3. Will test it later today. _________________

Domaindxl's really good which I'm using now!
When I first made the Rina gallery, it was those bungholes who screwed up my Mini Gallery. Some people could see the pics, then some people couldn't. Then it got to the point where everyone couldn't see it, and I couldn't even log in anymore. Doo doos. (After I switched, I had to edit the first 11 or 12 pages of that gallery What a pain!)
I've made the switch to Uploadit and I'm totally satisfied. No problems whatsoever!
