I haven't seen it yet, but I can't imagine the anime versions of Nodame and Chiaki being better than the live action version.

Don't get me started on how the anime is inferior.

Stresemann and nodame.
the Stresemann looks repectable here.
and Nodame is much more like Ueno Juri, thats why she's really a perfect choice for it

The English subs for this episode of Bistro-SMAP is available from S-Projects .

Actually, no. Tamaki has disclosed he has a steady girl friend. Chiaki (Tamaki) was the gourmet and Nodame (Ms. Ueno) basically ate anything that came her way. In real life Tamaki worked in a kitchen for 5 years, so he knows how to appreciate food, and the SMAP guys were quite impressed by that too.

Never say never.
From what I've read, there's still another half to the Nodame story: the drama only covered volumes 1-9(?) of the manga, leaving volumes 10-16 available for a part two.
BTW, I don't think the talk about a sequel constitutes it as being a spoiler.

if there IS a sequel, i hope they won't put Japanese actors/actresses to play the western characters. It will look weird _________________

At this rate, Windows XP and a bottle of red wine would be better.
