Unless she's cast in a role as an actress with absolutely no talent

I second that. I found it to be

I think I'll revisit Long Vacation. Haven't watched that one in awhile.

Try To HEart. It is her only decent role. She plays a freaky fan/stalker type. Right in character!

I've been watching "Byakuyakou" for the last few days.
http://jdorama.com/drama.980.htm
I'm up to episode 6, and so far we've had:

Homicide

Matricide

Patricide

Prostitution

Child Pornography

Robbery

Fraud

Kidnapping

Rape

Blackmail

Extortion

And all committed by the two leads in the series, our sweet young lovers. Or shall I say, our sweet young monsters.

And yet... I'm riveted to the screen.

Watabe Atsuro and Takeda Tetsuya are outstanding in their supporting roles. Watabe as the personification of wicked. And Takeda as the obsessed detective.

The two leads, the young lovers from "Sekai no chuushin de, ai wo sakebu" are doing surprisingly good jobs trying to make the audience feel something other than loathing for these two... monsters.

A quick mention. Attractive as she is, I've never been all that impressed with Ayase Haruka . She simply doesn't stand out as the sailor suit wearing young school girl.

But in this show, when she gets her femme fatal on, wearing the sleak, high fashion outfits that reminded me of the stars of European movies from the mid sixties... she's stunning.

This is one scary girl when she wants to be.

This is one dark dark story. _________________ Manga is to Literature

It'll be like watching the first series with different characters except for Nakama Yukie.

It's hard to say for sure from your description but if it is an instrumental piece (not sung) then it's likely to be 'Pullulate'.
