Yes, he is gorgeous! Hehehe. But I swear to goodness gracious, he reminds me of Gackt!!! hehe

Quite a few said that actually but my eyes can't see the resemblance. I admit Gackt is quite pretty (though I'm not a fan of his). As for Hiroshi, I much prefer because he possesses this natural beauty that I like. He's "framing" hawt. Naughty (Sorry let me go get a mop.)

The descriptive 'jap' is considered rude in this forum. Please use the word 'Japanese' in the future.

It woulda been better if he/she had abbreviated it "jp" instead.

The RAWs from D-Addict are quite big (700+MB) - MU would not be able to accommodate such big files.

Free direct downloads are not available at all...trust me, I've searched

Silentregrets is history...

It has been replaced by this...
http://www.dramadirect.com/
(which is just SR transferred)
but they only have the two eps you already have.

As far as I've been able to find, you only have 3 other options:

http://aznv.tv/en/

you will have to register and install winamp on your computer for streaming video...passable quality...no downloads as far as I can tell.

http://www.crunchyroll.com/showseries?id=744

also streaming, but youtube quality...has a download option, but you have to pay for it.

http://www.animeground.com/drama/serie/Nodame_Cantabile_%5BJDRAMA%5D.html

This will cost you $10 a month, but they have a helluva lot of dramas (and anime and manga)...they try to stay current w/ latest releases.

This is the price we pay for the debacle at d-addicts...ah well.

Actually Silent Regrets is still around - here is a link to their Nodame page.

I think they are waiting for final version of the soft subs to hard-sub the remaining episodes.

I see...you are quite right...that's a great relief...I was getting some weird vibes from the dramadirect.com site... here's a quote:

"Comment feature has been taken down. Me and Nay will discuss what will happen to the content. The comments are closed because people where getting involved in things what are not their buisness (like zeldAIS)

Greetz,
Hiro"

Has SR been hijacked...contents moved wholesale to another site w/ someone posing as the original webmaster?

Finished episode five (again Beaten ).

That Rachmaninoff piece (Piano Concerto No. 2 in C Minor) is awesome: Romantic, sad, and very moving. Thumbsup

The Rachmaninoff recording in "Nodame Cantabile Best 100" is actually faster - more Nodame than Chiaki.

The Rhapsody in Blue performance was unusual with the pianika... Chiaki called it "Big Band ala Japonaise."

Sounds like a dish. Beaten

The 2 "Orchestra de Nodame" CD-sets both has a different version of this piece with the pianica. In OdN-Live it is a (sort of) full version whereas in OdN-Story it is the one 'performed' by the S-Oke.

Yes. Victory! Peace!

In the OdN-Live version there's this off-note break by the pianika... That made me chuckle. hehe

I really enjoyed the music from Nodame C.

I know there is a list of what is played on wikipedia and around ... of course the same piece sounds different depending on the arrangement, the player etc etc.

Maybe those with a good ear can give me advice.

Which CD set should I get if I want the exact music that is in the drama. Where could I get it -- I would be willing to pay for it at a place like YesAsia

and

Which CD set would you get if you only were going to get 1? why? (I like it but probally not enough to want a jillion versions of it).

Thanks
Smi
