I really enjoyed the music from Nodame C.

I know there is a list of what is played on wikipedia and around ... of course the same piece sounds different depending on the arrangement, the player etc etc.

Maybe those with a good ear can give me advice.

Which CD set should I get if I want the exact music that is in the drama. Where could I get it -- I would be willing to pay for it at a place like YesAsia

and

Which CD set would you get if you only were going to get 1? why? (I like it but probally not enough to want a jillion versions of it).

Thanks
Smi

Roughly speaking there are 3 types of music:

1. Classical pieces that were mentioned in the manga, and subsequently appeared in the drama and/or the anime;

2. Classical pieces that were not mentioned in the manga but were used in the drama/anime as background;

3. Original composition used in the drama/anime.

If you are referring to type 1, the "Orchestra de Nodame Live" and "Orchestra de Nodame Story" CD-sets are the ones you want. There is also the "Nodame Cantabile Best 100" which covers a lot of the classical piece completely - i.e. all movements of the symphony/concerto etc.

If you are referring to type 2 there is no known collection that covers them all.

If you are referring to type 3 you'll want to get the drama OST and the anime OST (not yet released).

If you have downloaded everything else then don't bother. The character selections are rip-offs orchestrated (sic!) by Sony/BMG to take that little bit more money from Nodame fans.

Here is a link to the Amazon page for this CD.

I don't think he's "pretty." Handsome is the right word for it. Mr Green

Yea, that's what I thought. I think no guy wants to be called "cute" and "pretty." rofl

Ok *makes mental note to kick the pretty habit* I've always used the word pretty (well there a few exceptions)
Though you're right I'm sure men wouldn't appreciate it, so I should try kicking the habit... it's all the years I have spent around anime (bishies) *bites tongue* Bang Head

I'm wondering when I should put my disks in for the third run... I really should finish my new doramas first *bites nails* but NC is hard to top KYA
