I finished "Byakuyakou"

http://jdorama.com/drama.980.htm

Wow. Now that's good story telling. Terrific acting. A dark, sordid, tragic story that kept me fascinated until the end.

It's a love story... but if you're looking for a sappy, happy ending... forget it. If you're looking for something light... forget it. Go back a page or two and read my list of the main characters... hobbies.

Three cheers to the folks at SARS who did the subs. Wonderful job. If you download the hard subbed version over at D-Addicts, I can tell you, they left out all the pointless "Editor's Notes" and "Japanese Cultural Notes" that are becoming so popular with fan subbers, that do nothing but clutter the screen and force you to still pause the video so that you can read their paragraph. Thus killing the flow of the show.

This is one of the few times when I really wish I could read Japanese. I'd love to go back and read the book this show was based on.

Finished "Omiai Kekkon" last night. Nothing spectacular, and the main characters are not all that likable. What kept me going was on of the supporting actresses - Satou Tamao. She's so cute and petit - yes, I have a soft spot for tiny women (the ones that are old enough to drink and vote legally). Mr Green

Starting to watch the Train Man Special on YouTube... someone put the whole special up there. Wonder how long it will be there before they kill it...It's in 9 minute segments starting at:

http://youtube.com/watch?v=D5_jO9VM0Js

If you click on the square in the lower right hand corner, it will play in full screen mode and it's pretty good quality.

I kept the concert footage in my Palm TX and watch it from time to time. 'Sing Sing Sing' is in my iPod which I listen to almost daily - it's also my mobile phone's ring tone.

I'd expect nothing less from you. Victory! Peace!

If Sing, Sing, Sing doesn't get you up on your feet and moving, you've probably been dead for a week or two. Beaten
