So you heard the new song! Really envy you! I hope I will be able to hear it soon when someone record it off the swimming show. I hope it will be as good as Dear WOMAN cause it was really one of my favourite JPOP songs among other artistes in 2006.
Regarding the possible release date, from my humble research, 11th and 18th of April has been taken by Kanjani8 and Tackey & Tsubasa respectively, so it leave the 4th and the 25th as the possible date. I would put more faith on the 25th date as I see WAT releases on the 25th too. I realised that Johnnys seems to purposely put their artistes releases on the same date as other boybands in Japan. But I will prefer SMAP to release this new single on the 4th cause it is April soon .

I think this new song will be putting in webs soon,, same as <<Tabidachi no Hi ni>>,, have u listen to that oredi?? If not u open this link and u can listen directly..
For me,, Mermaid has the same style as Dear Woman,, an easy remember tune and the lyrics are simple..
I heard that Kinki Kids are releasing their single on the 25th April,, so,, the only possible date for SMAP is only the 4th,, if not,, we have to wait till May...

Thanks for the link. Woah! "Tabidachi no Hi ni" sounds really great but are you sure this is a SMAP song? Haha, it really doesn't sound like your regular SMAP songs. I guess it will be coupled in the new single.
I heard a sample of "Mermaid" too from the link. Yeah, it does sound like Dear WOMAN. Now I would just have to listen to it over and over again to familarise this song and decided whether it is as good as Dear WOMAN.
According to this link http://jbbs.livedoor.jp/bbs/read.cgi/music/3914/1157792441/l50 which I frequent and found it very accurate, KinKi Kids song was dated on 16th May but eventually taken off. So I believe the 4th and the 25th is still both possible open date for SMAP new single.

Yes,, itz a SMAP song,, the NTT cm song,, they sang this song in this cm,, four of them smile, Shingo and the others cried.. I also think that this song will come out in C/W,, and another new song titled <<Sprite>> was also rumoured as the main song for the Swimming competition,, so,, I wondered,, SMAP have this song??? Or it has changed itz title to <<Mermaid>>??

Oh! The song in the NTT CM where four members act as teachers. I thought the song was an some Japan graduation song. No wonder I found it familiar.
I never expect Takuya to come to other Asia countries other than Hong Kong, Korea, Taiwan or China for official events. The only chance that he will come other countries would be for filming drama or movie he is acting in.

Ne,, I still putting hope that the members will come to our countries one day,, whether to promote something or to held a concert,, I'm still waiting for that,, Ha,, suddenly tot of one thing,, if they come to our country then they must learn some basic words of our languages.. Like last year they promote the Sample Bang DVD in Taiwan,, (not going to Taiwan but they had a clip to the Taiwanese fanz),, when they (Nakai) said "DA JIA HAO",,, I laugh so hard,, quite funny for me... So, when they wanna come to Malaysia one day,, they will have to say "APA KHABAR" something like that,, I wonder,, what will happen??? Will everyone burst out laughing??? Haha,, just something funny for me,,

You right Carol Some japanese know how to speak Malay..When I go to Japan two years ago, people there so familliar with Malaysia you know..when I said I'm from Mareshia, they will said fastly "Mareshia!" (with a proudly face ) and followed with "Mareshia Mahathir!" They know about our ex-Prime mInister very clearly ne~~and one thing I should be proud when I meet them is, they know how to speak "Terima Kasih" and "sama-sama", also singing "Rasa Sayang"..

Yar apparently Rasa Sayang is one of the favourite tune....it would be great if smap one day wil sing abit of rasa sayang...hehehe...

Hana Yori Dango also did well, with 27%, and my black horse of the season Haken no Hinkaku got 26%!! It's been a good dorama season
