YamaPi's talk is way better than Tegoshi's but then again no one approaches an angry Seniorita. Ryo's talk is nice too. Shigie was less serious than YamaPi or Ryo.

I have watch it many time.. first, watch without read the sub.. second watch and read.. third, since the writing are small then again (just an excuse ha ha..) forth.. fifth.. so happy.. even though its not in high quality but not bad.. can't comment now.. its heavy rain here.. hates it. I think Johnny doesn't mean to block the artistes from international spotlight, as we can see how much exposure they actually had overseas, especially Asian countries. It's more likely that he doesn't allow Nino and Kimura to nominate in the big award ceremony just b/c he afraid of lossing. The one Kimura can't nominate is domestic ceremony, isn't it? Johnny just afraid the gossip going around when Kimura can't win the award. He doesn't block Kimura from nominating the dorama award b/c the chance of him winning is like 99%. But when it comes to movies, especially it's Kimura's first movie, Johnny acts in a much more conservative way....I guess........

At this rate I really doubt the return of Kusa and Uchi...i'm coming to accept NEWS as a 6 member band now too..i think Johnny likes playing with fans..so i think the whole trainee thing was to just please fans and that's it. ..if he pushes NEWS as a 6 member band, more people will eventually accept it and maybe get used to it like that..that's my theory at least..oh well i'll still hope for the return of those too members...but it'll be sad if they never come back.

Anyway I didn't hear their new single yet but i heard it was good..is it good enough to buy? I currently have JE-itis so i'm really into K8, SMAP, and V6 now..but i do want to support NEWS as well so how is their lastest single??

They do seem to be pushing for a 6-member NEWS, and new fans especially will be more used to seeing them as 6. They barely know who Uchi and Kusano are, especially Uchi, as he had been gone for a long time. Still, it's not wrong to hope. Their return, though improbable, isn't impossible. Although it seems that fans have accepted a 6-member NEWS, I think it's more like the fans are content for now, to at least have NEWS, and are still hoping for an 8-member NEWS... at least, I am ^^;;

I'm a little disappointed though coz NEWS really didn't show that they want both back although they did say they went to Johnny's management to plead for them...but then it doesn't really show in their action. K8 are even better in this sense, they've never forgotten that they started with 8, with them leaving spaces in pics n concerts for Uchi, or throwing out hints after hints that they want Uchi back...In that sense, I was hoping that NEWS could at least show something but then they really look comfortable with only 6.

That's exactly the same way I feel WD..i'm not saying that NEWS doesn't care for its 2 lost members..it just seems that they're happier and content right now..i know they want their members back but like WD said it doesn't show i their action I guess...oh well..i'm still hoping.

True, but I suppose that could be down to K8 having a stronger bond than NEWS.
And, without being too defensive of NEWS, K8 lost Uchi, but NEWS lost themselves, if you get what I mean. NEWS are probably just happy with the fact that they still exist, even though Kusano and Uchi are missing. Subconsciously, they may be blaming Uchi and Kusano (they are, after all, normal human beings) and just want to be happy as possible without thinking of them that much, that they've already tried their best, that now it's up to those two and the management, that it's a pity but life goes on. Or, they may just be putting up a facade... keeping on saying 'the 6 of us.. the 6 of us..' does sound pretty forced and unnatural to me.
Who knows what they're really thinking...

I m in agreements with hantuwriter , when they say 6 members it does looks forced and maybe probably uncomfortable to say. Because each time they say 6 it reminds them of 8. Or makes them think about the two others. They don't say it natuarly and I am sure they could have said something like "us" or "the group" instead of repeating the 6 of us.
I wonder if Jhonny has a thing to do it it.

But I guess some members can blame the thing on them too. We do not really know their personal point of view on that. Now how it is going I do not know if they will be 8 again.

I agree w/ hantuwriter that NewS being happy now mostly b/c they are relieve that they still exist. It's diff from K8. While Uchi got suspended, K8 never got suspended w/ him, they still have lots of lots of activities (in fact, more work than when they still have Uchi w/ them), whereas NewS the whole group were being suspended. Yes, each member has their solo work, but it's a very big difference. Like Shige, when there's no NewS activity, he doesn't have much solo work and exposure. Remember Shige said he and Koyama thought they would not be able to join Johnny's Countdown last year and only able to watch Yamapi and Tegomass performance from backstage. He mentioned how they felt so surprised that they are allowed to go onstage again. So I think it's completely understandable why they are happy now. The impact of this whole incident on NewS is much greater than K8 lossing 1 person. And the reason why they seems so happy w/o Kusano and Uchi.....we never know the truth, but it's not hard to guess.....

1) Their happiness of being able to revive exceed the sadness of lossing 2 members;

2) They have faith and believe Kusano & Uchi must return later, so no need to feel unsecure or sad;

3) They got too used to losing members. Don't forget able the 9th member. Johnny's said he resign, but there's also rumors that he got kicked out. I believe in the latter. Johnny's said he quit for study and may return after finish school. Now he did return to the stage, but not to Johnny's anymore. If the 8 members don't feel anything for the 9th member, and the fans don't accuse them for forgetting the 9th member, then I don't think there's any problem w/ the members' attitude toward the 2 trainees;

4) They are artists, they need to bring positive and happy stuff to audience, they can't always keep mentioning the 2 suspended members, rite? It's already enough mention of "NewS's two suspended members". The media keep reminding the public about this already, no need for the members to give anymore reminder. And I don't know if you guys feel it, but it seems to me the media mention the "NewS's 2 members got suspended b/c of underage drinking" more often than mentioning "K8 member commit underage drinking".......it looks like when it comes to the underage scandal, Uchi just become NewS member only and has nothing / little to do w/ K8..........just my opinion....

5) Like hantuwriter said, K8's bond is much stronger than NewS. Can't really blame NewS. They were only formed for 3.5yrs. And among this short period of time, they got temp disbanded for 8months, and Uchi got suspended for 1.5yrs already. Plus Uchi and Ryo didn't attend all of NewS activities in the past.......their time spent w/ Uchi was actually very very very short. Yamapi also said himself didn't see the other members really good important members until last year. Don't expect them to be really good friends who would always act sadly for the 2 trainees, be more realistic.
