im actually watching Gokusen right now, and ive only finished the first episode but it dosent seem half bad. Why's everyone ragging on it? (or is it just Gokusen 2 that's bad? And WHY is the 2nd one bad?)

gokusen 2 sucks!!!! don't even think about it, a total waste of time. I watched both gokusen 1,2 before I read the manga. and after I read the manga, I thought back and realized that the drama version was so bad. the manga was extremely funny. The anime club at my school say they have the anime version, but i'm too lazy to checked it out.

Can anyone reccomend anything similiar to Densha Otoko? I liked the story and the humour in it a lot. Someone reccomended akihabara@deep, but what about other romantic comedies that have a good storyline/can keep you hooked as densha did? Thanks a lot -Sulk

I think "summer snow" "pride"is good, I like akihabara@Deep, , the story is stupid, there is not famous actor (or at least I think so, there are at least two idols in it). but I still like it consider it if you have nothing else to watch

come to think of it, after watching around 60 doramas, the best dorama(s) and most memorable in my opinion is Tiger & Dragon and Iryu i recommend these two to everyone! (and i need to watch more ) _________________

^ I feel concerned that the rakugo stuff iin Tiger and Dragon is hard for non-Japanese speakers to understand. I do have this drama, but I'm a bit wary that I'm not going to understand a lot of it. (This is because of things I've read here).

Can anyone recommend a series that's NOT primarily comedy or romance? I'm looking for something darker/more serious, but where the main focus is not the relationship between two main characters. (Also, by darker/more serious, I don't necessarily mean sad. I've already seen One Litre of Tears, and truthfully it kind of bored me ^^; ).
