Doesn't the wifey have long hair? Or has she cut it off. I find women who have children tend to chop it off because it's easier to manage.

Had long hair. Like you said, she finds it easier to manage. To be honest, I prefer her with shorter hair, and she prefers it too, although she said once that it made her look like a dyke (her words, not mine - gomen to any women who prefer the company of other women Smile )

Yea, if I could pull of short hair, I'd have short hair. My I have a really round face, and if I cut my hair short, I look like a beach ball. I also have naturally curly hair. Curls + short length = afro.

Yeah you definitely have to honor your face shape and hair texture when considering a short cut. Me I have had super long hair and I have had super short hair. I have had tight curly perms and super straight hair. I don't think there is a hairstyle I haven't tried aside from the Mullet and the Mohawk! hehe The joys of being a woman. Mr Green

With hair like yours, you could do a mullet of Billy Ray Cyrus proportions - now THAT'S something I would like to see Smile

Aw, thanks. Jumpie
Oh Enna, I once had a perm, but the curl fell out after a few days! I haven't had one since.
I loathe the smell of perm solution - it's like rotten eggs. Yuck.

Ooh, mullets. Nasty. I feel astonished whenever I see anyone with a mullet. Especially a woman!
I agree that it is the nastiest hair "style" ever. Shocked

I know! And what's scary is that it's coming back. Actually, all the fashion from the 80s is coming back. I don't mind the clothing so much... but the hair? No thanks.

Hehe. hehe
Did anyone here ever see Prisoner: Cell Block H? A long-running drama series, set in an Australian women's prison.
The amount of sheer mulletry in that programme was jaw-dropping. It seemed every second character had a great big blonde mullet atop their head.

Maybe the show's hair stylist is a novice and it's the only 'do he/she knows how to cut. Beaten

Seriously. The further west you go in Sydney, the more mullets you see. Usually accompanied by more and more tattoos, old and poorly-done-up cars, and AC/DC on the stereo Smile

LOL!

For those who don't know what a Mullet is:

I found these pics randomly online, so I apologize if any of your faces have appeared here.

That was from years ago, at the height of mullet-popularity.

I quite liked the show back then Smile

Nah, the animals are nothing. The usual terms for mullet-wearers as described above are "westies" or "bogans" depending on where you live Smile
