I'm not sure about the real Noda Megumi's musical talents, but the manga was inspired by her messiness. Someone posted a photo of Noda-san playing the piano in a very messy room in Ninomiya-sensei's homepage. She thought it was interesting and discussed the idea of a messy music student with her publisher. The idea was accepted and Nodame was 'born'.

It is right that the real Noda-san is currently in Fukuoka teaching the piano. While we don't know if there was anything romantic during her time at the music university, the 'Onara Taisho' (farting exercise) we heard in the drama and anime was composed by her.

Does she really like that? Well, you know that the manga/anime/drama is based on the true story, right?

Watching bits and pieces as I check burned copies for trade...

The last ten minutes of Episode 5 are so dramatic with Rachmaninoff's Piano Concerto No. 2 playing in and out of the background... One of many amazing high points. Applaud
