Yea the one about the little girl in elementary school. There is a cartoon version of her. Maru-chan?? It aired last sunday, not yesterday, from 8-9pm. I just thought it was rather funny to watch.

It looks like KSCI is now showing "Ainori" twice a week. In addition to the usual 11:30 p.m. Saturday, they're now airing it at 6:30 p.m. Sunday nights. (But no subs Puppy Dog Eyes )

After Oishii Propozu wraps up (either this Sunday or next) channel 18 will start showing Hanayome wa Yakudoshi Looks pretty forgettable from the reviews posted by people that have already seen it. (Why couldn't they show Kira Kira Kenshuii ????)

Be thankful! We have nothing like that in Australia. We get the odd Japanese movie once every few months, usually on in the middle of the night Sad

I know we're probably spoiled here, but it's frustrating because there's good stuff out there and instead we seem to get mediocre crap.

Not just mediocre but in addition they seem to have been produced on (ugh) VHS originally and the scenes tend to be so dark that even on TV you can't make out the actors in the night scenes and the day scenes the skin colors tend to run to reddish brown.... just ugly ugly quality.... That's how it is in Delicious Proposal right now. I see the next one was produced just recently so maybe this time it will have been recorded on DVD and we'll have decent colors and lights. Shoot

Mediocre crap would be better than our alternative...

I think i'm gonna email SBS (our "multicultural" TV station) and ask them to start screening some J-Dramas...

During HEY! HEY! HEY! and Tokyo Tower, there was a banner that ran at the top of the screen announcing something about FCI, KSCI 18 and 04/08. My kanji comprehension isn't great, so if anyone else saw it and can translate what it said I'd be most grateful!

You might check the KCSI/UTB web sites... They might be pre-empting regular programming because it's Easter (?)...

I did check those sites, but I couldn't find any references to 04/08. Oh well, I guess I'll find out what the deal is this weekend!

KSCI is also running the same banner during Wakaba program in the 7:30 am broadcast. Funny they don't post it in English since Wakaba is broadcast with Eng subs for the massive English dorama audience.
