Reds lost to the Pirates today on an abysmally cold game 27 F most of the game). We're still tied for first in the division though. Record is 4-2-0.

It certainly doesn't help it's been so cold accross the country. Cleveland's home games have moved to the dome in Milwaukee just so they can play one. Snowed out half the games already! U Suck

Reds lost last night to the D-Backs. Grumble

Dodgers come home, play a non-Giants team (the Rockies), and promptly lose, 6-3. Shake Head

It's okay, the Reds lost "ANOTHER" close one to the D-Backs last night in extra innings. We're now a .500 ballclub again. Sad AND we're behind St. Louis .5 games back at 2nd place.

I know nothing about baseball: but I was watching NHK news last night, and it seems the Red Sox have a Japanese pitcher called Daisuke (Dice K) who is apparently their savior... heard of him?

It's funny, we get NO American baseball on TV here, unless it's on pay TV (cable) which I don't have. But it's on NHK news almost every night - actually it's pretty much the only sport they have, except Sumo and the odd ice skating. I guess there's a few Japanese ball players now Smile

I want a Japanese player to root for with my Reds or maybe the Orioles. Puppy Dog Eyes

Reds won last night beating the D-Backs 3-2.

Josh Hamilton homered for the second straight night. Consequently they were his first two major league starts! Applaud

The Orioles used to have a utility player named Lenn Sakata: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Lenn_Sakata Smile
