Alright guys a little research brings me to this. L's Name in Death Note is L. Lawleit. I think it might have been a European name due to the fact that he was in eruope for a bit i believe. YAY for the find. From whatever resources it doesn't say what the L stand for. I think Lawleit is justice or something.

Oh yea, if you put spoilers, can you please say if it's from the movie, manga, or anime? Because i've only seen the movie so i don't want to look at a spoiler and find out that i'm actually reading the end of the manga. I'm going to read it this summer so... please be kind =)

I haven't read it but it must be stupid to be so judegemental. Obviously, if it is informational, it should not "rate" the characters. And there's a lot of spoilers on that page. I think it's a junk website to make fun of things.

Yeah I know what you're saying. Just a bit angered by what people really can ruin for others. They started talking about sick stuff after a bit of reading it. I thought it would be informational but then again it's a Wiki site. . Not all Wiki sites are nice.
