Hey minna, remember when I posted pics of ketai straps being sold on Yahoo Japan awhile back? Well out of complete boredom I went out and bought some beads and bead craft supplies and made my own. Let me know if you want one. They kind of look like this (images from Yahoo Japan):

Minnaaa...just dropping by, to ask: Has any of you got the latest TV LIFE?? The 4.14-4.27 edition!! TV LIFE's 25th Anniversary! To celebrate that, they had special interview with SMAP and they're the cover^^
They asked each SMAP members to tell them their most memorable event when they were 25 years old!
Kimura reviewed LOVE GENERATION!!! Kyaaaa!!! I wonder what's he's saying...is it his first met with Matsu???
Goro reviewed SOMMELIER!!! There are small pics of him and MIHO!!! Wow!!! How can that be allowed?? haha! but I'm happy!!! Though small-sized, but the pics looked so cute! Goro-Miho were shot with cute poses!!^^ But what he was saying is: My First Met with WINE. (haha....and Miho?)
I'm not sure what Nakai said, Tsuyoshi talked about his TEAM drama, and Shingo talked about his work with Mitani Koki, HR.
The shots are good! You guys should get it!^^

Okay, I'm only about a week and a half late but i FINALLY got to see the Love Awards. I liked how in Bistro, the teams just ended up eating each others' foods. And Goro-chan with the wine was a LOT of love. He looked so excited.
And oh my God the five of them looked SOOO good in their suits. I can't get over it!
[and did anybody else get it from Jpopsuki? Did it end weird? oh well, I can't complain..]
Errr, still haven't seen the MS performance. Aggh, don't kill me everybody.
And as for the Love Awards, besides GREAT suits (seriously, I really can't get over it. Every single one of their suits were nice), I think I fell in love with Takuya's hair. What is with this guy and his natural ability to look good?

Yeah, it fades to black with a message saying there was an error...technical difficulties? Carol uploaded the full version at Youtube if you don't know how it ends. I think there was another 15 minutes of the show left.

Hmm, I wonder what Goro-chan loves more wine or his cats Has he ever talked about his relationship with Miho? I know every once in a while there's rumours of marriage and breakups and I've seen quotes from Miho but I don't ever remember Goro talking about their relationship.

Hi again!! Haha... I managed to finish my homeworks, and finished the other "homework": Read TV LIFE
Nakai talked about how he found his path of life at 25 years old. He cant sing, he didn't do too good in acting. And he finally found VARIETY SHOW. "This is where I belong!". But he said, though he got so many variety jobs, he's not yet up there, madamada desu. "There's alot of things I still need to learn!".
While, Shingo talked a bit about his most memorable event at 11 years old: HE GOT A WALLET GIFT FROM KIMURA-KUN!
When he was only 5th grade, he didn't has wallet and just put his money inside his bag, the highschool 1st grade-Kimura comment, "Omae, saifuu gurai motte yo!"(Get a wallet, will ya!). So eventually Kimura gave Shingo a wallet as a gift.
Believe it or not, Shingo still use that wallet TILL NOW!! Kimura said, "I don't get it! Why do you still keep it?? Get a new one!!". But Shingo said, he's just used to that wallet already and dont feel like getting a new one, even though its 'boroboro'(worn-out) already....he said, "I dont mind if I lost it...but the problem is...I never lost it, though many times I almost lost it, I always found it again... So I just keep using it,".
Haha...imagine he's using a 20yr old wallet, the VERY first wallet he ever has, and he still use it. And its from Kimura!!^0^
I remember in a Tensei Shingo episode, the other two hosts (they knew his wallet was from Kimura-kun) tried to throw that wallet as far as they can, but Shingo did alot of effort to find it again!! lol! Yappari, it's his treasure ne! ^_^
At 25, he told about how his neighbour friend came to his house on Monday, and it seems his friend loved Hito ni Yasashiku alot and always switch on TV when the drama was on. Shingo got embarrased and keep telling his friend, "You dont have to watch it y'know,". But his friend kept watching till the last episode^^ (I suspect he's talking abt A-san )
Nagisa, yeah... Goro never talked abt his relationship. Afterall, its like a BIG NONO for Johnnys boys, desho?? Just like Shizuka who talks abt her family (husband n kids) in variety and interviews, but Kimura never mentions anything. I think Zephyr once explain the reason, SMAP members tries their best not to make the fans feel uncomfortable^^
Btw, do you think Goro is the M type? I just saw Kanno Miho on a variety last week, promoting her drama. She has to choose between the 2 hosts, which one she likes the most, she choose one and the reason is bcoz she thinks he's the M type. And she herself is the S type. She said, she likes the M-type guys^^ She feels like bullying that "M" host, lol! Does that mean she bullies Goro??

Anyway Yanie, I know that you are a Shingo ichiban and recently I am starting to like Shingo a lot. He is currently my niban! Also due to what Vanessa has said about writing on Shingo, I recently attempted writing a fan fic on him. and wooooo.. he sure is fun to write. The situation for me is quite unlike for you and Vanessa, I wouldn't be able to write anything for Tsuyoshi at all. It's currently about Shingo & Kimura, my two favourites. And like all fanfics, it's getting weirder and weirder
Has anyone watched the Hero promotional with Kimura and Matsu? It was aired in 2001 on Iitomo? The rest of SMAP were also on. Shingo was promoting Shingo Mama. KimuraMatsu play games while Shingo Mama hosted the games. As i understand only minimal Japanese, this is what I have observed:
At the beginning, after the host introduced SMAP and Matsu Takako, Kimura strangled Matsu's neck from behind and struggled with her for about 5 seconds!! In the meantime, Shingo was bullying Tsuyoshi and restraining him as well.
The host asked Kimura something about Hero being the 3rd time he and Matsu Takako san are working together. Kimura said yes it's the 3rd time they're working together. The host then asked what he thought of the combination... and I didn't understand his answer at all Yanie, have you watched this?
When the host introduced Goro and Kimura as a team, Kimura put his hand at Goro's waist and held it TIGHT for very long, throughout the introduction!!!! Goro was just... hanging on. (Of course, being a Kimura-Goro fan, I loved every second of it)
Kimura and Matsu played this game where they had to write down their answers on a board and once they both wrote the same answer!!! But I forgot to mention that is the purpose of the game
What is "Koma"? Kimura answered that for one of his answers and did some explaining... and then the audience went "OHHHH" and that silenced Kimura and Shingo who were talking. Then Shingo looked as though he tried to clear up the air... I think Kimura must have said something sensitive???
Fans of Shingo would love this. At the end, 5 people came with paintings of Shingo and Shingo's reaction is so kawaaaaiii as each of them showed their paintings. Also, there was one part of hosting as Shingo Mama that Shingo started dancing while the rest wrote down the answers on the board... it was really so
