Good job, Wyn-chan now that I see that pic of Takenaka Naoto I remember him from Swing Girls but you wouldn't recognise him as being the same person in Nodame

Well he didn't have a lot of exposure in Swing Girls. I do find he looks the same tho, with his mouth in particular. But yea, going from bald to mop is pretty drastic.

Uh, you haven't read this thread thoroughly, since it's been mentioned multiple times that the English subs are available from S-Projects.

As my first full J-Drama, which as led to my massively spamming a zillion series since then, I figured I should post something here to at least so THANK YOU NODAME!

That said, is there any news out on a potential Nodame Cantabile 2 other than rumors? I mean, I guess the anime will continue much further than the drama, but I love these actors so much I would love to see the rest of the story through with them.

This has been discussed at length in several forums - a second season is not very likely, given that the story will be set in Europe. In fact the anime will also end at the same place as the drama.

There is rumour, though, of a special sometime this year.

Hopefully, they'll do it before all the cast members get too old... And the the Special has substance and is not a reunion of the cast like the Kuitan Special was...
