ugly turtles can do that to a drama

 - "Turtle"? Is that something I'll only understand after watching the show? I still haven't got a chance to start... stupid work committment!

 - By the way, has everyone here voted for Misaki already?
She's ranked 27??? WTF? Age is probably an issue... but its ridiculous considering some of the actor/actresses ranked higher than her. Come on guys! | |

dude, don't worry. There's plenty of 'actors' in the top50 who shouldn't be there and no, I'm not naming them, because their fans will eat me alive

 Oh i see...
My Japanese language is limited to "must-read-subtitles-to-understand-anything-at-all-level".

Must start at least one episode tonight... Will just substitute sleep for Misaki tonight... and doze off at meetings tomorrow.

If I remember the anime correctly (didn't watch it)... I think Misaki's role in Maison Ikkoku will be meek and submissive again (correct me if I'm wrong). Even though the story of Sapuri wasn't that good... at least we were able to see a different side of Misaki.

In Densha, You're Under Arrest, and Kiken na Aneki, her roles were always a bit clueless in some way or another. I like her better when she is portraying an intelligent woman. What about you guys? Which of Misaki's many roles do you guys prefer most?

(Kind of gathering feedback to find out which other Misaki JDorama is worth downloading and watching next...

She should play the role of Otonashi Kyoko, the widowed apartment manager of Maison Ikkoku. I wouldn't say she was meek, as she would definately show her displeasure with Godai quite freely. I'm curious as to who will play him as well as the trio of insane apartment mates. As in Sapuri, Misaki will play a character that is a slightly older than Godai.
