Well, what I did was write the Hiragana and Katakana (all of them) over and over and over again on white board
Since I took some Japanese classes, I had to memorize vocabulary words and how to write them.
Its just repetitive practice. At least it helped me.
I should get back to practicing my Kanjis or just review everything in general
Hopefully this was some kind of answer you were looking for.
If you really wanna learn phrases, get exposed to some new words, and such....watch lots and lots of anime. Seriously, it'll help

how about lots and lots of dramas? haha
thanks for the advice. Lots of people have been telling me that. What i'm doing now is associating the symbol with a picture of word. That's the easiest way for me.
Isn't memorizing kanji REALLY HARD???
Well, I hope Gakki will make a new drama so she can teach me some japanese

either or works just fine. I do both
Kanji is a pain in the butt.
Since I don't know many kanjis and many kanji has multiple meaning and different ways of saying it, it gets overly confusing. So you have to know the whole sentence or so or the word that the kanji is being used for to know what that specific kanji is.
I guess a good ex. for now would be the Kanji for "I"
When written, one can say "watashi" or "Atashi" depending on boy or girl.
Well anyways. When you reach Kanji, you'll see just how difficult it gets. As you practice it and get exposed to many different kanjis, memorizing them will become easier since by then your japanese should "Level Up" sorta say
I would like to see Gakki as a Lead in a new drama soon. It'll be great _________________

She shares the cover with a bunch of girls but inside she has a special cardboard insert and a bunch of pages with nice pictures. I or KT need to scan some of them for the thread. It's a great issue~!

Hi everyone. I have been browsing this forum topic for quite a while now and I guess now is a good of time as any to go ahead and make an account and post.
As for my history with Aragaki Yui...
I first noticed her when I watched My Boss My Hero and after that went ahead and watched her other dramas. (Dragon Zakura, Gal Circle, and Sh15uya) I also saw her SP (Kanojou no Koibumi) but still havent been able to see True Love.
She's a wonderful actress and extremely beautiful. I hope to see her movie coming out and also hope to see future dramas with her in it.
I Hope to get along with all of Aragaki-san's fans!

Welcome to the thread.
I'm sure you'll get along with the rest of us here.
I miss her.
I havent seen a Gakky drama for years...
(well, it feels like years)
hai...I know how you feel.... like it's been a very long time since her last drama series.
there's a good news....Gakky is reportedly going to be playing the lead role in the new movie, koizora (). It will open in Japanese theaters in fall.
Koizora () is a movie adapted from a cell phone novel of the same name. It is published as a book last October and sold one million copies in one month. Koizora is about how a brilliant high school girl grows up and gets over various difficulties like teasing, rape, pregnancy, and miscarriage. And it is based on the real experience of its original author.
The executive producer, Hamana Kazuya, said that it'd be interesting to see how a popular young actress with a sunny disposition plays a role who have to overcome the difficulties and the hardships of life.
Arakaki Yui is also showing the desire to challenge, saying that "I feel nervous and anxious but I'll do my best.
