"Okay, I just had to share this little strange coincidence involving Shun Oguri. It felt like I was in the twilight zone...
I am currently in college and taking a Japanese language class. I met this girl in that class who had just returned from vacationing in Japan with her grandmother. In the months that I have talked with this girl I have found her to be completely oblivious to the japanese media scene as far as music, movies, dramas, actors, etc are concerned. She knows absolutely nothing and was basically just tagging along with her Grandma to visit friends and ended up falling in love with the country. Just last week, she was showing pictures of her trip to Japan. A couple of the pictures were of her hanging out with a family that were friends with her grandmother. I kept on looking at this family and going "gee...they look so sweet..." and then suddenly I saw Shun Oguri's face. shocked.gif I literally did a double take and could not believe my own eyes. Here she was in a picture right friggin next to Shun Oguri. I asked her about it and she was like, "ya, I hung out with Shun...why, do you know him?"
Can you believe it? I started laughing and informed her that he was an up and coming actor who was gaining fame. She told me his family explained to her that he was an actor but she didn't realize that he was actually well-known. I told her about the many fan girls who would die to be in her shoes at that moment and she thought it was funny. She told me that he was an extremely nice person but very reserved. She believed this to be due to the language barrier. He spoke very little english in comparison to his parents and older sister and my school friend could barely say "hello" in Japanese at that time. His sister did most of the translating between them when they all hung out. Shun was extremely interested in the english language (he tried his best to jump in on the mostly english dominated conversations) and they joked that when she returned to japan the following year, she would have to teach Shun english and he would have to teach her learn japanese in exchange."
oh norika so jealous...waaaah!!! the girl's so lucky!!!!
wow, I'm like soo jelous!!!! (This is my first post cause I'm new here, if I sorry for my writing but my english isn't perfect yet) Why this thing doesn't happen to people like me? lol _________________

norika! hahahaha yellow ranger!! hahahaha i remember when i first found that picture...i coudldnt believe it was shuN!! i was like...err....*zoom*...*stares*...*rolls on the floor laughing* hahaha he has such a cute butt!! JUST LOOK AT IT! lol compare it to the guy next to him...and you'll know how cute he's little butt is! _________________

hahahahahahaha!!! shun has a really nice butt, can't forget it when I saw it in rinjin 13 first, lol lol lol. I was really amazed to see shun in that yellow suit, I used to watch the american version of power rangers, never did it enter my mind that shun would be one of the rangers in japanese version, hahahaha, is that really a series or simply a pictorial?hehe. _________________

Oh, I have only come to listen to all night nippon when ate vina vinalovessushi gave me a copy of the all night nippon show wherein f4+makino tsukushi (via phone patch) were the guests. I got a copy of a translation when shun and jun were the only ones talking in the show. there's still no translation of the conversation of F4. I think I can mail the translation to you, but still I have to ask ate vina. yooohoooo ate vina where are you, haha. maybe she's busy for the review.
shun's so funny there, haha. I think he's really fun to be with, he is a fast thinker, he talks fast coz he thinks fast.wahihi. _________________
yeah! well I downloaded the second part that is when they do a part of the show but the change of caracter, shun is doumoji, jun is rui, matsuda is akira and abe is sojiro, I rebembered when I lisened it was soooooo funny to hear shun doing tsukasa!!!. But I couldn't donwload the first part so I still haven't listen all.
Yeah he is so fast when it come to reply, speceally with someone like matsumoto that is fast as well, really like him as well but shun is cooler lol and taller!!
I hope he does another dorama soon. _________________

yes!!! hahahaha, but there's not translation so I can't relate that much, I have to squeeze my brains to think of all the Japanese words I know so I would understand the conversations a little. ahehe. yes, he really is a fast thinker, jun and shun are so funny. they're happy boys. I liked matsujun first then shun,but I already sticked to shun. arggh he's so cool. I love tall guys, haha. _________________
