A special, probably; a sequel, not likely. It's not the ratings - the original story moved from Japan to Paris. The change in setting makes a sequel unlikely.
I wouldn't say unlikely... More like expensive.
I mean, they filmed part of episode 1 of Jodan ja nai in France, ne?

If so, you gotta wonder how they'll wrap things up in a two-hour movie...
They won't. Not unless Ninomiya-sensei decided to ship Chiaki and Nodame back to Japan. If there were to be a special I think it will be a glimpse of life in France for the two, the Bretagne Mozart concert, and possibly an appearance by Chiaki Masayuki.

Hmm, that doesn't sounds very substantial, though I haven't read/seen the manga so I don't know what adventures the two will have in France...
I just hope that if there is a Special, they don't turn it into a Nodame reunion in France, a la the Kuitan Special.

In the manga Kurokin did join them in Paris... Even if they change the plot, like they did by placing more emphasis on the S-Oke, I don't think you'll be see a bit reunion. Miki Kyora is a possibility, since she's going to Vienna to continue her studies.
