the great thing about kanji is that even if you can't actually read it but you recognise the character and know its meaning then you can with a certain degree of accuracy understand a sign.

Can someone help me with the spelling?

How do you spell Tsukushi Makino's favorite expression "Arienaittsuno!~" *i'm not sure if I spelled that correctly Sweat *

Hiragana?

Or Katakana?

Gomen, I can't type in Kana cuz we don't have that program here, so I used Paint instead Sweat So they're pretty crooked.

I've not heard that expression, and it's not in the JDict, but I assume the top one is correct because Katakana is usually used for non-japanese words IIRC.

The top one is the better of the two.
Since "arienai" is a Japanese word, you could write it as AGiC for emphasis, but he [ is really a reduction of Ƃ, so it would be strange to write it in katakana.

For those that don't know the meaning, while it literally means "it's not possible for that to exist," it means something along the lines of, "OMG unbelievable!" or "I can't believe it" in the sense of someone being a little peeved.

HTH!

Sankyuu so much for explaining, but the words you typed in Japanese came out in question marks here in my PC *cuz it doesn't read Japanese language.* Any suggestions on how I can solve that? I'd really like to see the chaacters you wrote.

You might want to try checking in the sticky thread "How to type in Japanese for win xp, etc." there might be some information there.

Yup. It very useful. Yes!

If that doesn't work. First word is arienai (katakana), 2nd tsu-no (Hiragana) and toiuno (Hiragana)

There are a few posted here: link. IMHO, the best one would be kakasi, but it's in command line... so that's kind of suck. Sad

Mecab is good too. The program's development continues. They are far from perfect though. Sweat

michi can also mean "way" along with "street"

if you heard "michi ni mayotta" it means "i lost my way"
