Funky Town is actually a single. No clue when she'll have a new album.

A great help actually. Since 75% of the people requesting lyrics don't know where to look for them. It should almost be made as a sticky.

Thanks. I'll check it out. Smile

hi ya'll,

i have a really weird question...

i was searching for tamayama tetsuji things because i really liked brother beat & a bunch of other works he's done...

does anyone know anything about the single "kokoro no note" which lists ohno yasuyuki & tamayama tetsuji as artists? is it a single by both of them...? i cant find anything with it, no video or even a short clip to verify whether or not i can recognize anything....hahaha

I would like to give a mention to a superb female Japanese singer called Salyu.
If you are not familiar with her, I recommend you give her a listen.

http://www.box.net/shared/1ouj27nqec

You can listen and/or download two tracks off her Landmark album at the above link.

I'll upload the whole album if anyone would like it! Fingers crossed

Yay! So pleased you liked what you heard, AD! w00t!
I've uploaded the rest of the album now (it's the same link).

You might find this Wiki page on Salyu interesting (there's pictures, too)

It's my pleasure.
Let me know what you think of the album - good or (surely not!) bad. Mr Green

Have you heard of a Japanese film called All About Lily Chou-Chou?
The soundtrack has Salyu as the voice of Lily.
The few songs I've managed to find are marvellous, but the cd is quite difficult to find and/or expensive. Grumble

@ djlain - who or what is Globe??

I think she has a richer voice than most Japanese singers.

well her voice is nice. but i still like my singers by thier performance. i've seen a lot of jpop singers mp3s, but then after watching thier performance on TV programs like MusicStation, there are a lot of jpop singers that should just stick with making CDs and shouldn't ever release a DVD their entire life.

Jaegal_Maut just sent me an awsome Namie Amuro BEST tour Live Style 2006 DVD

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Namie_amuro_BEST_tour_%22Live_Style_2006%22

she's awsome! even though she moves so much, she can still control her voice. i recommend this to everyone

c is san, but the star no idea. I can't remember the word for star. =T

I don't think it's "happy star-san", 'cause san is written in kana only. It looks like a flying star, maybe it's just used to look nice. Smile
