I think the average is about the same as most cities in northern hemisphere ~30C. It's hotter in august ( ~35C). Since you're near the water, the humidity is probably terrible and, like any big cities, you have the smog and all that crap. It can go higher tho, I think we have an average of 25, but it goes up to 40C when it's sunny, but goes down to 15 when it's raining.

Riding the rush hour train full of sweaty salariman breathing down your neck must be really great. bleh

my friend who came to tokyo with me last year used to live in kenya. in return for me showing him round in japan he said he'd show me where he lived plus a few other things like sea fishing in mombasa. and it's occured to me that i've never been the other side of the equator.
