I see. Well I just thought it would have been a good ending to a series. But I don't mind if they are planning to make it long like Harry Potter as long as the next Spiderman movies are as good as this one.
I'm still wondering when Peter's chemistry professor (Dr. Curt Connors) will eventually become The Lizard.
Star Wars isn't a trilogy: There's 6 of them. (a double trilogy??) Actually there was going to be 9.
What the......are you for real?

Not really.
Anyone familiar with Spidey lore would know, and those who don't need to read more Spidey comics.
Obviously I'm one of those who aren't reading too much Spiderman comics. Though I used to watched the Spiderman cartoon when I was a kid. _________________

About what? The first episode released was actually ep 4, and the latest 3 were 1,2, and 3. George Lucas aways intended for there to be 3 more after Return Of The Jedi, but changed his mind somewhere along the way

I was referring to the 3rd trilogy that they are planning to make. I mean, despite the poor CG scenes of episodes 4-6, they are better than episodes 1-3. Lucas really messed up on episode 2, good thing he was able to redeem himself on the 3rd episode, which is the most important part since it is the episode bridging the new episodes to the old ones. So making episodes 7, 8, and 9 is too much. _________________

From Wikipedia:
In 1978, following the success of the first released Star Wars film, he announced that he would create a total of twelve films to chronicle the adventures of Luke Skywalker (in the original scripts, the characterfs name was Luke Starkiller). In 1979, Lucas retracted his former statement, saying that he would instead make nine films.[3] Four years later, having completed Return of the Jedi, Lucas announced that he was putting Star Wars on indefinite hold until special-effects technology had improved to his satisfaction. Finally, in 1994, (after seeing the effects results of ILM's work on Jurassic Park) Lucas decided that he would produce the trilogy of prequels (Episodes I, II, and III), for a total of six films. He also claimed at the time that he had always envisioned "the whole thing as a series of six films".

Apparently they've started on part 4, and it will, in fact, have The Lizard. This explains why Dr Connors had quite a few scenes in the third one. _________________
