I'd love to see him starring in a new drama soon. Too many Johnny boys nowadays. |

i actually think he's one of the best young ones out there. especially in movies! i definitely agree with estranged |

I think that my previous statement was pretty harsh as well (I did not say "fruity," btw), and I apologize for my bad choice of words.
What I was trying to say was in most of the dramas I've ever seen him in, Tsumabuki didn't appeal to me. It seemed like he was "just there" and had no impact on whether I liked a drama or not and I'm just very indifferent to his characters. Whether that's considered "bad acting" or "overrated" in my book or just him being directed that way in a certain type of role, I'm just not impressed. Maybe I'm watching the wrong dramas, so I might just skip over to the "recommendations" thread to talk more about it.
ON TOPIC: I have to mention Kanojotachi no Jidai and Garasu no Kutsu. I've seen them in the past and they will always be remembered as "boring" to me. _________________

I get what you're saying. I don't usually judge actors/actresses until I've seen them in numerous roles/dramas. A good Satoshi drama to visit, if you want more exposure, is Orange Days. He won me over with that, and confirmed his talent with Lunch Queen. _________________

Gah, another one who gets j-drama on regular TV

Yeah, but the dramas are really outdated (well, not the first 2 mentioned). Like right now, Byakuyakou, Ima ai ni yukimasu, Oishii Proposal, and Partners are airing. And some Taiga drama as well. _________________

If I'm not mistaken, aren't the Taigas/Dramas that are broadcast with subtitles done in Hawaii...?

I honestly don't know. They're "not worth watching" from my point of view (yay, on topic!), but maybe I should give it a chance since there are a lot of people who like them.
As for the regular dramas, I think that JN Productions does it (KIKU TV did it before). I don't remember if JNP is in Hawaii or not though. _________________

After skimming thru 20 pages I've only found one person who think this dorama is bad.
I've seen quite a few of the bad dorama listed but nothing.... nothing beats Fukaku Mogure. Seriously lost thru-out all the episodes. The beginning was confusing, the ending makes me even more confuse... The one thing it accomplished (well for me that is) is that it makes me wanna rank it as the worst jdorama. It is ok for me to watch those not so good "see-and-forget" dorama but this is unforgettably bad....

If it's that crappy, maybe no one watched it so they couldn't add it to this thread.

I really liked Taiyou no Kisetsu. Then again, I enjoy dark dramas with dreary atmopheres. _________________

Then you'll love the last three dramas that Ryoko-chan did... They're dark and rather lurid...

For me, I am staying away from all Fukada Kyoko dramas. *shudder* Especially SOS. Gosh, I hated that show. Terrible. |
