Oh gawd, Neighbours. I have seen episodes, but I felt used and dirty afterwards.
Haven't seen it in years now. I never thought it'd last this long...but it just won't die.
Oh, the "pop stars" Neighbours produced - bleh! One of the worst was Craig MacLachlan - his song (I use that word advisedly), "Hey Mona" is one I regrettably remember well.

gawd... i've never heard anyone say hey regret remembering a song...
it must be worse than that fish&chips song on Pauline Hanson... _________________

A prime example! Actually, that's not a bad description: Craig MacLachlan is the MatsuJun of Australia
The good thing is, if MatsuJun follows his career path, he'll drop off the face of the earth soon

You know what I've never gotten into Neighbours in ALL the years it's been on TV, it seems it's been airing nearly as long as I've been alive!!! I used to be a Jason Donovan fan (I'd like to point out... I was 4... and impressionable) XDDDD I remember my parents took me to a conert I was so excited... I even learnt to play that "I close my eyes- aaah" remake song whatever it's called on the recorder ha ha!!!!
My sister watches neighbours. I used to watch Home & Away when I was about 10... which makes me wonder... is that show still on??? I haven't seen it for some time... but then I don't really watch TV anymore I just stick a dorama in the DVD player...
Oh and I'm feeling some MatsuJun hate here Bless him XD, i'm not really fan but I'm not- not a fan. After all I can't hate him thanks to HanaDan I got into Jdorama. (Then searching for HanaDan stuff on YouTube I found Gokusen... and then my dorama obsession spiralled)But this is the wrong thread for that so I'll shut up now, I've said my peace _________________ Anata no subete wo shitte imasu - MC KAMIYAMA

Do you know what day?
I'd like to get some tickets, if possible.

Or simply that watching him makes you want to stick a fork in your eye and wiggle it around just to remind yourself that you're really NOT as numb as his acting makes you feel. _________________

I don't know who Pauline Hanson is, or the fish & chips song...I gather that's a good thing?
I found the Hey Mona video (or just Mona as this YouTuber calls it)-
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=e2ZW_uTlhEQ
Watch it if you dare...
Some of the comments about it are unbelievable. It seems there are actually fans of Craig's er, singing.

Pauline Hanson was (is) an Aussie politician who was a fish & chip shop owner when she went into parliament. She started spouting racist comments, got booted from the political party she was in, then started her own. Eventually got jailed, then released, and was last seen on Dancing With The Stars |
I know who she is now! It's just the name didn't ring any bells, but I'm sure I've heard about her before. She should've stayed in the fish and chips industry.
@ Scrapped - one of my friends has highly recommended Heroes to me, but I'm a bit late now.
It looks science-fictiony though, which doesn't tend to be my thing.

It's a pretty decent show. My sister has watch a few episodes that she downloaded (or that my cousin downloaded, something like that). I haven't seen an episode myself, but mebbe this summer...
Right now I don't have anything else except jdoramas and anime, because they're the actual breaks from everyday life. _________________
