Huaaaaaaa..... Goro-chaaaan!!!! I LOVE YOUUUUU~~!! I'm sooo drunk over Goro right now! (sorry Shingo!! xD)

I'm sorry, I didn't post anything right away after the play. I got many things going on during the last 3 days... didn't have the time to write a report. And you know me... when I write a report its gotta be LOOOONG!!! Haha... So I'll warn you from the beginning first...that this report is really long. I put together on my feelings, opinions and synopsis of the play as one.

So anywayy, last Thursday night was one of the most unforgettable night for me!! Not just Goro that was awesome, but the stageplay was also awesome!!^v^d

Anywayy...I'll start from the beginning... the theatre is at PARCO Dept. Store 9th floor. Unfortunately, I cannot take pictures at all on the 9th floor. So if you want to see what the stage like, just click here: http://www.parco-play.com/web/page/guide/
Then click on the writings on the map (lobby, cafe, uketsuke[receptionist], etc).

Outside the stage theatre, there were lots of flowers for the play's casts. Flowers for Inagaki Goro were from FujiTV "SMAPxSMAP" staff, TV Asahi "SmaStation" staff... all...there was a mini flower bouquet from Hashino Emi. I'm not quite sure how Hashino Emi related to Goro-chan x)

Besides that, there was also theatre DVDs selling stand. I was so excited to see Matsumoto Koshiro's family theatre stageplay DVDs!! Around 5000-6000 yen!! Huaaaa.... hoshiiii~~!!! There were Matsu Takako's OHATSU, Hotel Somer starring Koshiro the father, Matsu and Kio Matsu's older sister and many more. Then, 80% of it are written by MITANI KOKI!! This writer really dominates Japanese theatrical world ^o^

Oh yeah... there's also pamphlet of Goro's stageplay, 1500yen. Daamn... the ticket itself was already 8400yen! I thought they'll give the pamphlet for free >_< So, its a total 9900yen. I spent almost 10,000yen just for this night X_X Some of the contents of the pamphlet are below, characters profile and their rehearsal pics:

Outside the theatre, I kept looking around ...haha! I was sooooo looking forward to bump into Shingo/Tsuyoshi/Kimura!! LOL! Zannen... they were not around xD (I cannot expect for Nakai to come at all xP)

The theatre was not too big, it was only a 400 people capacity. And I was on the 3rd row!! Huaa...chikaaaiiii(close)!! ^o^ To 7 o'clock, right next to me, 2 seats were still empty... I felt dokidoki... could it be? Shingo and Tsuyoshi seats?? haha! Nooo... turned out, 2 girls sit there when the play was about to start^^ Oh yeah, right behind me, there was a pair of obasan, talked about the last SMAPxSMAP, when Goro told how Shingo slept on his play, heehee...

It started... the screen was lifted. It was a 1920s New York set, and the extras were just passing by the stage. I didn't really prepare myself that I'm going to see Goro LIVE. After that opening set, it turned total dark... and I feel someone come out from backstage to the right-end of stage... and that's right in front of me. When the lights suddenly focus on that person ............. *GASPING*........ GORO-CHAN!!!!O_O OH MY GOD, HE'S REEAAALLL!!!!!!!!!!! Omg, omg, omg..... HE WAS RIGHT IN FRONT OF ME!!! He's in my reach!!! Kyaaaaa....... all this time, I always feel SMAP is so out of my reach. But now, Goro is really in my reach!!*v* The stage was not guarded, so if I'm crazy enough, I can just run to the stage and hug Goro!!! LOL! LOL! LOL! (but I might get deported back to my country if I do that ...haha!)

But seriously, even to the last scene of the play, I was being so silly and kept convincing myself... that, OMG, is this real? Am I really looking at Goro with my own eyes? He's real?? Not a picture, not a poster, not on TV.... this is the REAL PERSON!!! Huaaa... T_T The real Goro is OH-SO-ALOT-MORE HANDSOME and KAKKOII, than the Goro on TV!!! NO KIDDING!!! He slicked back his wet hair, like on that masked-police skit. I usually dislike that style. But I dunno why, this time, he looked CHOOOO KAKKOIII, in my eyes!!! LOL!
Actually, this was not the first time I saw him with my own eyes. The first time, was 3 years ago, when I waited for SMAP in front of TMC. I saw Goro coming out from the car, entering the building... but I only saw his back xD And only heard his voice saying "ohayo gozaimasu" to the staffs... but I didnt see his face at all. So this 2nd time, felt like the first time!! xD

On that first scene, after abt 2-mins, the audience were laughing. I just realized... omg, what were they talking about?? I didn't listen at all... I was so shocked to see Goro...so I only concentrated on that!!! xD Now that I realized, I tried to listen to their dialogues... but I still cant catch what they talk about... they were talking so fast, and maybe I just cant concentrate huh? Still so shocked to see Goro! $_$ But on the 2nd scene, I can start to see the story. Haha!

The set was New York, in the 1920s. The title is "The Magic Fountain Pen". It's a COMEDY stageplay. Each character named after popular pen brands. Goro's character is PARKER. He's just a rookie, not-too-successful novelist. He has a pal, named WATERMAN. But he's also like a sidekick x) Parker is an arrogant, jerk guy. Pause first on the story... I want to comment, that Goro's acting was EXCELLEEENNTT, SO SUPERB here!!! He was really ALL OUT!! I was kinda disappointed with his acting in BusuKoi. But here, he was really ALL OUT like in Warai no Daigaku!!! Sugooooiii~~!!! In Warai, he was this goody-goody writer, right? This time, Parker is the opposite kind of writer... he likes to do evrything his way, and everyone has to follow him. I sooo love Goro's ignorant expression. Parker is also a hyper, talkative kinda guy.

In a pen shop, he meet a girl, named DELTA. Delta is the shop's owner daughter. Parker buys a pen, which turns out to be a magic pen. Ever since he use that pen, he can easily write many successful novels. Oh, and he also dated Delta, and they got engaged... On the next scene, it was told that Parker and Delta will be getting married in 1 week time.
Waterman was shocked to hear that, coz he already promised Mr. MONT BLANC, a famous conglomerate, he can arrange for his daughter to marry Parker. Waterman persuaved Parker to accept the engagement, coz his future would be alot brighter if he has Mr. Mont Blanc as a father-in-law. Since Parker has always prior his career, he was easily persuaved by Waterman. When he was imagining he's gonna be a famous, rich, successful novelist, Parker got all excited... and he jumps around. Hahahahaha.... omoshiroiiiii, to see Goro-chan jumps around the stage while saying, "Pyon! Pyon! Pyon!"...the whole theatre was laughing out loud to see that! Another funny part, when Parker sing a bit, but then he stops and said, "Wait a minute! This is not a musical play, why am I singing??!". LOL!
Mr. Mont Blanc comes to Parker's house with his 2 children. His first child, his son, PILOT, a good-for-nothing and childish guy. His 2nd child, his daughter, SAILOR, who is actually 7 years older than Parker. When Parker asked, "Koibito wa?(do u have a boyfriend?)". Sailor answered, "VIRGIN desu!!". LOL! She's an old maid^^;

During the 3-days of Parker and Sailor's wedding preparation, Parker didn't say anything at all to Delta, his fiancee xD On Parker-Sailor's wedding day, Delta go to the same church to pray, few hours before Parker-Sailor's wedding ceremony. Parker and Sailor's family are all there. There was this funny scene where Waterman tried alot of efforts for Delta and Parker NOT to meet. Delta also gets to meet Sailor and they talk about their husband-to be, which is funny, because they give the same exact descriptions, haha. Then, finally, Delta sees it with her own eyes, that Sailor's groom is Parker. Delta gets shocked.

Few years later, Parker gets labeled as The King of Novel. Mr. Mont Blanc has died. Parker and Sailor always had fights. And Parker has a secretary, Pelikano, who is also his lover x)
Suddenly Parker said he wants to get a vacation, and will stop writing for 3 months. Everyone against it, because it means no money runs in for them, including for Sailor, Pelikano and Waterman...because they all depends on Parker.

Sailor, his wife, really can't stand Parker anymore. She routinely held this spiritual ceremony to call her father, Mont Blanc's spirit. This time, she also invite her brother, Pilot, to do the ceremony with her. And turns out, Mont Blanc's spirit really comes...haha... so funny! This spiritual ceremony scene has no Goro in it, but it was hillarious^^ Actually, all the characters in this play are ridiculous and hillarious!^^ Mont Blanc told his children about Parker's magic pen. So the siblings starts to plot a scheme to steal the magic pen. And it's true, now that he has the pen, Pilot can write a novel so smoothly.

It is the end of First Act, and there was a 15-mins break^^ Heehee... I went outside to see all the pamphlets and DVDs again. And looking out, who knows there's a celebrity coming. Haha... unfortunately, none xD Heh, not my luck ne. Btw there were lots of obasan-s among the audience. I wonder if one of them is Goro's mother?? heehee....

Second Act started... Parker comes home from his vacation, and realized that his talent has gone...he can't write good stories anymore. His magic pen has gone. So he goes to Chinatown, to ask help from the magic pen's maker, Herbin, to make him another one. Apparently, Herbin is Delta's father. But Delta has become a boyish person now... she doesn't want to live a life as a woman anymore, coz of the trauma she had. Delta broke Parker's magic pen which just finished by Herbin, after she knows the person who ordered it was Parker. Ever since he met Delta, Parker gets drunk often... and kept thinking how he actually loved Delta... but he chose his career over her.

One day, Parker's back to his working room... to see Pilot writing in full concentration. Suddenly, Parker realized that the pen he used is his!! So the struggle-for-the-pen scene started! Parker run after Pilot all over the room!! LOL! Seriously, this is one of a helluva scene!!! Sugoooiii... this scene must be difficult to do, they were all wrestling on the stage. Then, Parker throw Pilot over the couch...and he dropped right on the end of the stage, I almost thought he's gonna drop to the audience seats xD Then, Sailor, Waterman and Pelikano came and saw Pilot's legs locking Parker's waist... haha... After she realized what happened, Sailor helped Pilot to snatch away the pen. During the struggle, they accidentally revealed Parker's secret success. So, Waterman and Pelikano try to snatch away the pen too for themselves!! Everyone becomes selfish! LOL! Sugoi, it was really hell of a scene... throwing the pen here and there, haha... and when Goro finally managed to snatch it back, the whole theatre was clapping!! LOL! Probably we're all sooo cheering for Goro to get the pen back...hahaha!!! The atmosphere's tension really increased. But then, it got snatched away again by the others.

Then suddenly, Mont Blanc's spirit comes too, and he snatch the pen from Parker's hand. Haha... on this scene... I got kinda embarrassed! xD When Mont Blanc snatch the pen from Parker's hand, I kinda let out a voice of, "Aaa'!"... but everyone was very quiet and 'siiing'... so my voice must be heard by the others ...and not to mention my seat was so near to the stage... aack!! xD Hazukashiii... But then, to think of it again... that means Goro has heard my voice!!! LOL! LOL! His position was right on the right end of the stage, in front of me... haha... never mind, I'm really out of my mind right now xD

During the struggle, suddenly the pen got broken, and everyone got so panicked over it. Then they all remember there's a pen maker at Chinatown, and so they all goes over there. But Parker just stood still, he doesn't want to meet Delta.

At Herbin's house, it was 4 AM, Pilot, Sailor, Pelikano and Mont Blanc's spirit all knocking over the door... LOL! It was so funny when Pilot introduce his father, "And this is my dead father,". Herbin's jaw dropped... haha...
Then when Herbin heard they are all Parker's relatives, he immediately take out a pistol gun and aim it to them. He really hates Parker, becoz of what he did to his daughter. The 3 people and 1 spirit kept pushing over each other. Then Pelikano said, "Mont Blanc-san, you better come forward! You're already dead, so its okay to die once again!" lol!

After they escape... Parker comes and apologize to Delta for everything he did. Delta finally forgive him and give Parker a new pen, just a regular normal pen, but it is a sincere gift from Delta. Parker was so happy and think about starting over again with Delta... butt...

The last part, all casts bows to the audience. Seems like Goro-chan was so tired, his hyper smile during the acts has gone, when he bows to the audience... he only gives a bit of smile, while bowing to the audience... he also waves weakly. The other casts were moving around with the music playing and smiling widely... But Goro just stand still... yeah, looks like he's very tired^^;;

When the audience applause, and Goro bow to the audience alone by himself on the stage, I feel like giving him a standing ovation!!! Because his acting was so, so EXCELLENT here!!!!!^0^

The whole production of the stageplay is awesome!! The sets were all beautiful and so detailed!! The sound effects was superb! The lightings are excellent!!!! I really don't know how they can do that. I'll give my 4 thumbs to the scriptwriter and director....both has done a super-great job in making a comedy play!! I really think Mitani Koki has to see this! They could be his new rival in the theatrical world!^^

The actors and actresses all gave top-notch actings...none of them are dissapointing at all! I love the musics!!! Swing jazz, broadway style musics.... suits my taste perfectly!! So I loooved the songs alot! In overall, it was a great, great, excellent production!!! I can't really pick on faults on it yet, or maybe there isnt any faults in it??

Well, there were 1-2 boring dialogues... like when Parker explained and apologize to Delta about the past. It was a bit boring... but I think that's it. The other scenes were all interesting!^^
Oh wait... the actor who acted Mont Blanc, he made mistakes twice, I think...hehe... He slipped a word...then also on another scene, he kinda cannot hold back his laugh...haha... we all laugh to see that. But Goro-chan didn't make any mistake at all, that I notice of!^^

Uwaaa...it was such a great, awesome, wonderful night for me!!!^0^ I went home from Shibuya around 10 o'clock.
