Then you'll love the last three dramas that Ryoko-chan did... They're dark and rather lurid...

I would recommend to avoid Byakuyakou and possibly Taiyou no kisetsu. Draggy and heavy atmospheres plus protagonists that wonLt do anything to change their destiny. Not my cup of tea really.

Very subjective though hehe keep in mind I am the one that like Akihabara@deep and IWGP.

For me, I like Taiyo no Kisetsu but not Byuckyakou (but maybe that's just me getting tired of Yamada Takayuki & Ayase). In Taiyo, the story is about the protaganist trying to change his destiny

. I especially love the leading lady/girl. Very endearing. As for Byuck, dropped it on the first episode.

btw, I LOVE Akihabara@deep & IWGP.

theres one drama.. hmm... not sure about the title... Cupid no Itazuka?? hehehe not sure about the spelling.. Sweat

Cupid no Itazura. why??? have yous seen it until the end???
I understand how people see it as somethin crappy and cheap. but...

CnI to me, was really something different. The story was daring, the casts were unknown (to me), no cute guys / girls. Bottom line: it was out of the mainstream.

with all those doramas with at least one JE fruityboy in it no matter how bad they act, and the usual teeny romantic love stories, and those same casts you often see in doramas... CnI is somehow refreshing. Moreover, when can you actually watch something with a story like this???

a rare dorama. and it won't hurt, only 30 minutes each episode anyway. I'm actually recommending this one to you.

kiken na aneki is absolutely in the top of my list, even there are some well-known actors and actresses but they just don't helpful at all.
misaki itoh's character is really stupid and annoying, I don't think there are such stupid person like her in this world. the others are also annoying,
really100x... annoying dorama.
maybe u should watch 2 or 3 ep of it and prove me that I'm right.

Hehehe good to know that am not alone with aki@deep.
I also admit though that Taiyo is somewhat better than Byakuyakou.

One that might be a timewaster as well - even if you like school dramas -is Seito Shokun. I have only watched 2 episodes without subtitles because Hongo Kanata is in it, but post-GTO, Kinpachi, Dragon Zakura and even Nobuta,Gokusen and My Boss my hero, itLs seems somewhat a pale copy of a copy of a copy.

I'm not too familiar with her resume except for (bad) shows like Pretty Girls, Koi no Kamisama, Tenkiyohou no Koibito, so I'm not familiar with her acting skills. And I don't consider what I said to be an insult, just an observation (and part joking). Sweat

I guess I've gotta send you Seikei Bijin, ne?

She won an acting award for Kurokawa no Techo, but no one's subbed it... As well as many of her other dramas...

It's a disservice, IMO. Puppy Dog Eyes

Is Seikei Bijin that good? A friend of mine didn't like it, but since our tastes are different, I may go ahead and take you up on your offer if it's ok. (Do you send it via online or snail mail, btw?)

I'm a bit biased, but I like it a lot... I think it shows Ryoko-chan's versatility as an actress.

A lot of people don't like the subject matter (plastic surgery) or the message it sends (pretty is good, ugly is bad), but that's up to the viewer to decide.

Oh yeah, snail mail... PM me with your details. Smile

I think I read about this drama a while back and it seemed interesting, so I'm looking forward to it. Also, I want to see what all the Ryoko fuss is about. Wink

Not always. Shameful Cry

I think Ryoko is brilliant in Love Revolution, as well, even tho she's not the main female lead.

ON TOPIC: Wait, I forgot what thread this is... Doh!
