LOL! okies. Um, the character is Hotarubi from Basilisk. She's often surrounded by butterflies that, depending on the manga, anime, or movie, aid her power.

The quote I found. It says "They seemed to come suddenly upon happiness as if they had surprised a butterfly in the winter woods."

I thought it was lovely. If you've ever stumbled into a clearing and startled a butterfly... it always brings a smile to my face. I thought it was a grand similie.
