Another one of my favs! Last Christmas is not a tearjerker at all... I mean, not in the sense that you're crying forever because she has a disease. It's not like that. This drama is just grand! |
Have watched until epi6, starting ep7 and indeed so far, so sweet!!! Truly enjoyable

I'm having a hard time with this. The actors who are the best, but the story sucks and taking place mostly in just one dining room gets very tedious. If it were not for Abe and Yada Akiko I would have abandoned this around ep 3 if not sooner. |
I remember the either Geezer or Triky (or possibly both) really panned this one, so I passed on it. Sounds like they were right.

As B-san mentioned, I already did! I saw Honmamon first and wanted to vote for her, but I never do until I see an actor/actress in a different role (this way I can see the stretch or stunt of talent). After see Jozee, tho, it was confirmed for me that she ROCKS!
I've been downloading more work that she's done. I have one drama where she stars with Tackey... but I think I'll watch it just cause she's in it.
On Topic: Still stuck on epi 1 of Engine. Didn't have the time to finish it. _________________

Am watching this as well and yeah, it does take some time to settle in to the story. Just finished the third episode and I'm really beginning to enjoy this creative and witty show.

Re: My Little Chef
I don't recall if Tu-tricky disliked the show, but I know I found it a total waste of a couple of discs.
Ralph! As everyone knows, you are totally and completely wrong about "Sekai no Chuushin..." the series, vs. "Sekai no Chuushin..." the Movie.
HOWEVER!
Since you're the angel who pointed me toward "Kekkon Dekinai Otoko" I promise I'll never hold your mistake about "Sekai no Chuushin..." against you again.

This is one of the jewels. One of the JDramas that keeps me coming back.
I've watched 7 of the 12 episodes now, and for the last few days I've been obsessing about ways to slow myself down. Trying to make this last just a little bit longer. But I can't do it. I can't bring myself to skip a night, or watch something else.
The set-up, the characters, the actors... this show is just a pure joy. And hard to believe, it just keeps getting better and better with each episode.
So thanks for sending me scurrying off to get the flies. _________________ Manga is to Literature
