Gomen, Enna! I only meant that we need someone to start a trend, because, like you said, it's a cultural thing.
I also think it's more personal perference. I used to draw a nude model who refused to shave anything. She was pretty confident in herself.

It goes back to when Pretty Woman came out and everybody went nuts about her. I couldn't figure it out. After that, she came out with a string of mediocre to bad movies trying to convince everybody that she's a "serious" actress. A) She's not that pretty and B) Her brother Eric is a lot more talented actor. Check out his work in Star 80. IMHO they gave an Oscar to the wrong Roberts.

@Wynter: It is all good. I grew up with the ciivil rights movement when a whole lot of desegregation was going on in the USA, so I tend not to take it so lightly. I knew what you meant about the trendsetting.
Yeah I also know what you mean about the personal preferences and hair shaving. The first time I saw a woman who obviously had never shaved her legs was in college. She had on what I thought were a pair of textured patterned pantyhose, but it turns out the pattern was her long leg hair.

@Enna: I bet that college girl coulda braided that hair, eh? I would let mine grow out if I was positive I wouldn't get laughed at. It's a pain shaving, especially since I have bad vision and therefore can't see in the shower. _________________

At one of my previous jobs, there was a guy who shaved his legs. He also had blonde hair half way down his back, and used to ride a bike to work wearing short shorts. The first time I saw him, I thought he was a woman

Maybe, what would get under my skin is when she would hit the talk show circuit (Oprah, Tonight Show, etc.) whining about how hard she's working, it's such a struggle, etc. I'm sitting there thinking, "Yeah, Julia, but the movie sucks, and a major reason it sucks is because you're in it!" (Another good Eric Roberts movie is Runaway Train with Jon Voight and Rebecca DeMornay )

I could never work out why Julia Roberts was so popular. She's not that good an actress, and a bit horsey-looking IMHO.
And it REALLY annoys me when actors complain about how hard it is working on a movie set. If you think it's hard, try working a 9 to 5 job for a basic wage. GET OVER IT!
Unexpected car costs: Popped the hood on my car and discovered that the rubber intake manifold boot is cracked and my V-belts have cracks in 'em as well... So I just bought replacement parts online to the tune of $60...
